i consider myself to be a pretty big spinnerbait fisherman and ive heard alot about chatterbaits/bladed swim jig and their succes. All the videos on them ive seen about how to fish them and whatnot says that they throw them in the same spots as spinnerbaits so my question is when would you throw a spinnerbait over a chatterbait/bladed swim jig and vice versa.

Made a few jigs the other day and brought em out on the water this week end and last weekend ams got some nice fish. Nothimg feels better than catching a fish on somwthing you made. Heres a pic of the biggest bass on ine of my jigs and some of the jigs. Feel free to post your own pics of fish on hand made lures or fish caught on hand made lures

Make sure when you pitch to a dock that you let it fall with a little slack in your line so it falls straight down and you'll get more bites....also make a lot if repetitive pitches I've made 20 pitches to a dock before I got bit

I like to pitch jigs ti boat docks fallen timber brush piles and I usually get bit on the fall

What lures do you guys throw in extremely clear water. the pond i fish i can see about 7+ feet straight down and i like to throw a lot of spinnerbaits and topwaters. What do you guys use in very clear water?

i love to use a zara spook or a heddon spittn image for topwater smallies.

Its a point that drops on one side from 10 feet to 40 nd the other side it drops to about 20

I found a dropoff at one of my favorite lakes but didnt really know how to position my boat to fish it. Should i start shallow and cast deep or stay deep and cast into the shallow water? I just dont really know. Any and all help is appreciated.
