Need Some Nighttime Advice
Literally, the ONLY night bait I use is a 1/4oz shakey head w/ candy bug trick worm. It produces everytime, on every lake.

Fall Baits
1/4 oz spinner bait willow blade w/ colorado kicker Fluke ---- white in color if shad are around Top water popper Hard jerkbait of some kind --- Floating rouge or a KVD suspeding jerkbait Squarebill Mid diving crankbait Jig --- had great success cranking shores and flipping a jig into isolated weeds/ laydowns I've also had GREAT success in 15/20 foot of water dragging a carolina rig with a shad colored worm. And a drop shot. It all depends on situations obviously... I can guarantee you catch fish on the above list of baits so long as you choose the right colors. On shad lakes I stick to shad colors.

Most Interesting Or Most Expensive Bait You Have Found?
Buddy found a Kistler Helium (?) setup a few years ago with a Curado. It was all up in the tree near the bank and the tip was broken. Either someone got it snagged off the deck while fishing or got really ticked. Sent it back to Kistler and they charged a few bucks to fix it.

Anybody Got Any Tips On Fishing A Big River
Just to quickly drop in my 2 cents ---- as someone who often river fishes.... Look for river lakes (little lake-type pockets off the main river). Fish those lakes like anything else for the most part. Often times in those type of settings I've found bass relate most to the "banks" within those "lakes." Try to find ones with some depth to em' and some clear water. If they are big enough and have decent depth, bass won't really migrate in and out too often (I've come to believe). They will be full of resident fish, if you will. If you can't get on something that way, a great pattern can be current breaks. Find places where a bass could have cover from the current. River bass are creatures of comfort, so they will find places to rest out of the current. If you have decent electronics, try to find some humps in about 10'-15' water and fish them with football jigs, cranks, and t-rig worms. Keep an eye on your electronics for any little nooks and crannies where a bass might find cover from the current. That's the best I can give you at the moment since I'm feeling lazy. One more thing --- My best producing crankbait color in cruddy/muddy water is chartreuse w/ blue back. All black jigs work well too. Be sure to put rattles on jigs.

Chine Walking Boats
Took me a decent period of time to get my outboard dialed in and running well. I've almost eliminated the walking after some tweaking. Set the jackplate SUPER high (too late to go measure for you), adjusted that little fin-looking-anti-corrosion-thingy to the right, had my hydraulic steering worked on (tightened up) and learned how my boat drives. I've learned how to drive my boat really well and @ 60 mph can prevent it from walking before it even starts. Haven't had to slow down in nearly a year. Im sure you've watched all the videos on chine walking. Essentially your boat gets on plane @ WOT and is balancing on only a tiny part of the hull. Walking occurs when the boat falls off the tiny part of the hull to one side. The goal of steering the boat is to balance the boat on the "tiny part of the hull" @ WOT. ^^^ Once I learned that, things all started to make sense.

Merc 2 Stroke 90Hp Water Pump Issue
I fish some really dirty water down south and it happens to me all the time. I've given up on keeping my speedometer unclogged at this point --- it jams up with dirt every trip!

Merc 2 Stroke 90Hp Water Pump Issue
The first place to start ---- clean out the hole. Remove the cowling and find where the pee hole is... there should be a small hose connecting to it. Pull the hose off and use a small pick or screwdriver to push anything out of the hole. Reconnect the hose, put on rabbit ears w/ hose and start motor. Is it now "peeing" hard? A common issue is tiny pebbles or dirt devils getting in there and clogging the stream. If that doesn't solve your issue, try rinsing out the hose connecting to the pee hole. If that doesn't solve your issue, then drop off the lower unit and replace just the impeller. Those 2 solutions are your cheapest initial route to take. Impeller will be around $20 and maybe 20 minutes of your time. If that doesn't solve your problem, THEN come back and lets revisit options. I'd be willing to bet money that your pee hole is just clogged. As for replacing impellers, they recommend every season, some people say every other year... I've seen people go 5 years and be just fine. Personally, I run my boat pretty hard, so I'm replacing it every year. $20 and a few minutes seems like a good investment to keep me running perfectly. I also doubt you caused any damage when the rabbit ears fell off for 30-60 seconds...

Grass In 10 Fow --- What Are You Throwing?
WOW! Great ideas in here! Glad I posted. Went fishing today and had some very unusual conditions to face --- very cloudy skies, foggy, good wind blowing. My only success today was working the edges with a floating rattle rouge

Strike King Structure Jig Opinion?
I was shopping for some jigs last week and saw these. I was about to grab a few, but just thought they were nothing special. I've grown fond of the Dredge style jig (siebert) makes and they have a comparable jig at my local tackle shop now. The eye is recessed and the owner deep throat hook is clutch in holding fish. I really don't see how this structure jig is anything unique.

Best Bass Lure

Grass In 10 Fow --- What Are You Throwing?
Grass comes up about 1.5ft and I've tried it, but no luck so far.

Grass In 10 Fow --- What Are You Throwing?
I've made it a point this year to fish exclusively submerged grass since that is one of my remaining weak points. It's a full blown summer bite in Louisiana at the moment and the grass is in 10-15ft of water. What are you guys throwing? Water clarity is around 4 feet. So far I've had success on a Senko through the grass, shakey head around the edges... that's it. I'm pretty much at a loss to be honest

Shakey Head
1/4oz all day for the most part.

Problem With Terrova Trolling Motor: Need New Batteries I Think? What Type And Brand?
Strange problem. My first thought is to tell you -- go to academy and buy two new batteries and save the receipt. See if the new batteries solves the problem, and if not, return those suckers back to em'.

Yes. Exactly.

Picked Up A Pre Rigged Creme Worm
If you're talking about what I think you're talking about --- they are deadly in slightly deeper water around 10ft and weeds as well as stained water.

What's The Best Footwear For Fishing In Your Boat All Day?
Depends ---- "for fun" days I'll go barefoot or sandals. But for practice or tournys ---- Hooks going about, lures on the boat deck, finny fish flopping, jumping around up and down from deck to deck landing hogs, standing for long periods....I'm not trying to get hurt. I almost broke my ankle jumping down from the front deck 2 months ago, am still aching, and I was wearing athletic shoes. If i had sandals I would have broke my freaking leg I bet! I'm wearing running shoes all the time. I've been stuck on Nike Frees for the moment and Nike Shox.

What Are Your Thoughts On These Pics?
The other hole clearly states its purpose ---- "vent"...Now, what does that mean? I don't know.
