Shallow Water Crank Baits
i use a 6th sense flat sided square bill, or a kvd 1.5 for shallow crankin. I usually fish it with a stop and go retrieve, when i hit a stump or rock i pause my retrieve. If you don't get a hit. take another cast right back to the structure. the square bill wont hang up easily so don't be afraid to bring the bait through the structure. It can be one of the most effective ways to catch bass.

Help With Pond Fishing
You just need to try out baits and find patterns. If you are trying to locate the big bass in the pond then i would suggest using jigs, big t rigged worms, swim baits or spinnerbaits. But i would just try different baits and see what works best in the pond. Once you get familiar with the pond, you will start catching bigger fish. Hope this helped.

Hook Types And Sizes
I mainly use straight shank hooks because i feel that i can get a more solid hook set on the fish. When im fluke fishing I use offset hooks because it allows better action on the bait. I use extra wide gaps on big baits and frogs so i can set the hook through the bait into the fishes mouth.

Organizing Soft Plastics For Easy Access?
Buy some big tubaware containers and organize your different types of plastics in each box. For example: creature baits in one box, worms in another box, drop shot baits in another box, and trailers in another. Then you can put those boxes in your boat, or you can just take a couple baits that you need out fishing.

Swimbait Tips
Well, if you are targeting big largemouth then i would suggest purcahsing a Huddleston swimbait either 8 or 12 inches. I use 65 lb braid on a 7 1/2 foot heavy rod for my huddlestons.

Hook Types And Sizes
Try to find a hook that is big enough for the bait but does not limit the action on the lure. For example on trick and finnese worms i just use a 2/0 round bend hook. For smaller baits you can use as small as 1/0 hooks. For senkos I would wacky rig them on a Wacky weedless hook or jighead. For flukes i always use a 3/0 round bend hook by gamakatsu. tight lines

Rage Craw On A Shaky Head Jig
I actually have tried this before. I used the white color rage craw on a 1/4 ounce booyah football shakey head. I caught about 5 bass on that rig. Its a good shakey head craw because of its solid long body. I would definitely suggest trying it. Its always good to try new techniques Good luck fishin
