  1. I have a lot of confidence in spinnerbaits, wacky rigged senkos, and jigs. Have them tied on every time I go fishing.
  2. The Bass Pro Shops cranking stick is definitely worth looking at. It can handle cranks, spinners, and buzz baits with ease. I have the 7'm and I am very happy with it.
  3. I use the 7'2 shimano clarus heavy worm and jig rod and let me tell you it's a stick! Great tip and great backbone
  4. I use the strike king premier plus almost exclusively in the 3/8- 1/2 oz range. It's good and sturdy so I like to bang it off stumps and such
  5. I have a 7'2 heavy worm and jig rod in the shimano clarus lineup. The lure rating is for 1/2-1 1/2. My question is that I was wondering if I could get away with 3/8 or a little less considering it is a soft heavy

  7. I am thinking of getting a frog rod and I have focused on the vendetta. I am thinking of the 7'3" heavy/ moderate or the 7'6 heavy. Or maybe even a md-hvy. Thoughts?
  8. I have a 7'1" med-hvy xf legend tournament matched with a lews tournament mg for the reel. The balance is very tips heavy causing fatigue while flipping and pitching jigs. Any suggestions on a reel that would be better suited for the rod? Thanks
  9. I am planning to pick up a shimano crucial rod to be used for jig fishing and some flipping or creature baits. I am stuck between the 7'5" heavy flipping rod, the 7'7" MH xfast flipping rod, and the 7'2" MH xfast worm and jig rod. Any suggestions?

  11. They are pretty comfortable but the legs are a little long. I have gotten them altered and now they' re great!
  12. I ended up going with the frogg toggs bibs. the reason i did not go with the bps pants is because they were more than the bibs i got and i would have to put more money in to something i just got. thanks for the input fishes in trees

  14. i picked up the Bps pro qualifier rain jacket the other day and for the bottom i got the bps bone-dry pants. I am taking the pants back because the straps are too short. any suggestions on what i should get? The Pro Qualifier bibs are definitely an option but are there any bibs at a lower price that are good quality? Thanks
  15. When i spool my 15 pound power pro on to my shimano saros, it always has a larger quantity of line on the upper end of the spool and i am not sure how to even out the line when i am spooling new line on. please help!
