So I got the ok to do some fishing as long as I took it easy and didn't try to hookset a volkswagon... Went after work and got this beauty on a Big Bite Baits Cane Thumper in Green Pumpkin color, the bad thing as you can see is that he/she broke my almost brand new Abu Veritas rod, I'll be giving them a call tomorrow to replace it

So I hurt my back at the gym about 2 months ago. Ended up with 2 herniated discs which are hitting the sciatic nerve and causing all sorts of havoc. I am slowly on the mend but want to do some bank fishing, has anyone dealt with this and did casting seen to aggravate the injury? I would love to just take my spinning rig and some senkos and walk the bank fishing but don't want to prolong my recovery. Thanks and happy fishing!

So I have decided to get myself a fishing kayak instead of putting a lot of extra funds into a bass boat. This should hold me over for a good while and since I usually fish alone or on my buddies boat it just seems more practical all the way around. I was curious as to whether you other yakkers prefered to fish standing or sitting? I think I have narrowed my choice down to Wilderness Ride 115 x or the 135, both should handle both well so it is just a curiosity of mine. Happy fishing!

Keeper probably wasn't the best term i did release for another day

Im very new to bass fishing and over the last few weeks I have caught about 5 bass under 1 lb, pretty small..... but today I went out and fished a good section of water from shore and got this keeper. Definitely my best by far... black and blue jig with craw trailer. So Im hooked

Had been looking at the old town predator but the nucanoe looks promising
