  1. watch the YouTube videos of the before an after on the installation and check out the difference
  2. It was a good increase on casting and smoothness. Like Crankenstein said, you may need to increase your brake setting bc it is a big difference.
  3. The Boca's were about $35 I believe. Money well spent
  4. I have the 200e7 with Boca Bearings in it and I love mine. Casting and smoothness is unbelievable.

  6. I second the Lews. I have the Tourney Pro and I love it. It gives my Chronarch a serious run for its money.
  7. I went fishing earlier this morning at a pond behind my gf's house and nothing we have fished before could catch anything over 1 1/2 lbs.. Well i decided to try a baby bass Strike King Shim-E-Stick and BAM! 8 1/2 #er was the end result... Im a believer for now
  8. I have the 7'1 *** Med and i absolutely love it. Plus in the event you do have an issue with the rod I heard that 13's customer service is amazing. I have average size hands and I havent had any issue with the grip on the ***. I also palm mine when i fish.

  11. I just bought a TP (like 5 mins ago) and I cant wait to see hows it turns out. This will be my first Lew's and im ready to see if it lives up to the hype. Going to see how it compares to me Chronarch this weekend.
  12. I use to have the same problem. A senko use to only last for one fish until i started using o-rings. Look on ebay. I bought 100 of them for $6 shipped i believe.
  13. Im fixing to buy the Tournament MG. Im really liking what I see/hear about them. Cant wait to see how it compares to my Chronarch....
  14. I use to have a similar issue and i started using bobber stoppers. HOWEVER, i found that they became aggravating to use if you switch baits so i would recommend looking at how Fluke pegs his waits. Look on youtube under "Mojo Rig" and just watch how he pegs the weight. He uses jig skirt material and its alot easier to do than using bobber stoppers. Hope it helps
  15. I found a Lew's tournament MG on ebay last night new for 107.00 shipped to your door. I will be buying one shortly. I know its a couple bucks about your 100 limit but I think it will be well worth it.
  16. I use 8# Berkley Fireline with a 12# Seaguar InvisX floro leader.
  17. Thanks for the feedback guys I really appreciate it. Im really liking what I see from St Croix, I think I may go with one of them.

What is everyone's thoughts on the reel and any suggestions on which rod would be best would be be very appreciated. I plan on using 50# braid on the reel. Looking in the $120- maybe $150 range on the rod. Thanks guys

  21. I have am *** 7'1 m I use for fishing weightless flukes and weightless worms. I absolutely love it. This was my first rod I tied up any money in so I cant really compare it to others, but for me I am very pleased with it. Paired it with a Shimano Chronarch.
  22. Hi Guys, I have three ponds around my house and I am having trouble catching bass in two of them. I am located in southeast Georgia and of the 3 ponds, 1 is small ( 1 acre), and the other two are bigger ones (about 6-7 acres). I can catch fish in the small pond with no problem. It water is fairly clear and the fish always seem to bite. The other two are a different story. I have ok luck in one of them with junebug senko style baits and pearl flukes. However, none of the fish are over 1 1/2 pounds. I cant seem to catch anything in the other pond. Ive tried mojo rig trickworms and baby brush hogs, weighless and t-rigged worms, flukes, poppers, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits and nothing is working. When we went this past Thursday I was thinking that the amount of rain we have been getting may be making a impact but I am not sure. I start fishing at daybreak and cant catch anything after 930. I see fish rolling the water so I know they are there I just cant figure out what to throw. Both ponds have dark water with visibility about 2-3 ft deep. Both ponds have a lot of grass and vegetation on the bottom. I just cant figure out why I can catch fish at one, somewhat at another, and then absolutely none at the other. Any help would be very appreciated.
  23. I was in the same boat not to long ago and decided to go with the *** and I LOVE IT. Ive got a 7'1 MD that i use for mainly weightless soft plastics and it has been a fantastic rod so far.
