What are the best value jerkbaits out there? I love jerkbait fishing but I'm on a super tight budget right now and can only afford 2 or 3 at some of the prices they are going for, so I really want to know if im going to spend that much on a lure which brand will give me the best value On a side note, if anyone has a few they would be willing to part with please message me, I'd love to buy them on here so I could get more with the little money I have for fishing gear.

I have recently gotten an abu garcia revo sv and ive noticed that its been making a strange screeching sound when i cast it latley. Does anyone know how to fix this or why its doing this? should i have it serviced?

At one of the ponds ive been fishing lately i have noticed a bunch of large carp in it and i thought it might be fun to try to catch one, the only problem is that i dont know how. I know corn is the best bait but does it take any skill or technique or do you just throw it out there on a bobber and wait?

I noticed that too, my crankbaits with orange bottoms ALWAYS catch more fish then my other ones... It has gotten to the point that i will only use my 3 crainkbaits with orange bottoms over the 10+ that dont

Every kayak everyone has suggest is too far out of my price range i can only afford a few hundred dollars at the max.

Okay i would definitely use a bigger hook so the small ones cant bite it and i would look up what bait catfish like the best... i have never fished for them before so i dont know but im sure you could find it with a quick google or youtube search

I have been strongly considering buying a kayak to fish on. I have heard both positive and negative things about them. The positive is that I wont be just shore fishing anymore and it is much cheaper then a bass boat (which i can't afford anyways). The negative is that if i get a big bass on the line it is much harder to fight the fish since i am at the same level as the fish and it could pull me around and possibly tip the kayak. Does anyone have any experience with kayak fishing and can give me some advice?

I've caught one 2 pound bass that had especially sharp "teeth" it even peeled skin off my finger.
