  1. What is a long cast..... "It is a cast that goes long".
  2. Does anyone reconize this?
  3. I did trim two down but still had issues with the spinners catching up on the line. And when trimmed down just di not look right if you know what i mean.
  4. No they are not that good the Strands hang up alot on the spinners and the spinners also hang up on the line quite a bit. But that is just my personel experience with them. And yeah there is a lot of ice here! But some open water.
  5. Dude i thought you where going fishing??? LOL I am just kidding with you bro. Good luck on the water.
  6. Strike King Coffee.
  7. AH HA there it is ..... I "want" do you really need 10??? this is the big question.
  8. Think about what your are saying, spend hundreds or thousands of dallars to save a minute or two???? WOW. Honestly i agree with you people can do what ever they want with there money.. it is there money. But the topic is how many DO MANY SETUPS YOU REALLY NEED, it is not about bragging how many you have, and then justifing why you have so many.
  9. what ever makes you happy, keep telling your self that to justify it. I just think as recreational fshermen you dont need that many setups, but that could just be me. So your honestly telling me you could not do what you are doing with maybe 3-4 rods??? You are talking about 1/8-1/2 oz of weight difference, so your saying there is no rods that can adapt to that?? Weird. I can understand have more tackle, but all these combos just seems crazy, to try and catch fish.
  10. I have to open a tackle shop! You guys are crazy! 10-20-30 combos. Really you need that many?
  11. Will do guys, will look at something else, planned on using it for river trout but the area is pretty rocky. So I will find something else if this line frays easy.
  12. Has any one used or do anyone use this line? Looking for some feed back on it. I was looking at 4 pound for a lite river trout set up.
  13. So my brother won a Shimano Sedona 2500 spinning reel at a stag and doe draw, he does not fish so gave it to me..... So my question is, looking on line it states the line capacity at 6pounds... 8 pound...etc...etc... But I was going to use for river trout fishing ( very light tackle 1/16th-1/8th ) but I want to put 4 pound mono on it. So can I use 4 pound on this reel? Or do I have to use at least 6 pound as stated on there web site? I personally do not see why I could not use lighter line but just wanted to check to make sure this is not a problem. thanks
  14. These work great on really lite gear. http://www.basspro.com/Joes-Flies-Premium-Hot-4-Trout-MultiPack-1/16-oz-/product/10213970/
  15. Actually the company has been around for a while they are a Canadian company that mostly build fly rods, and there fly rods are very good . I use two of them for fly fishing a 6 wght and 3 wght. Hoepfully you find what you are looking for. Good luck and good fishing.
  16. Really one negative post and you are willing to completely give up on a rod ?.?.? that pretty much eliminates every rod on the market. what not go to a shop that sells them and check them out for yourself? My father inlaw uses this model and loves the rod. I have tried the rod and found it was a little tip heavy ( again very little ). but casts a ton and felt good in my hands.
  17. More important where in the hell do I find one of these wives!
