See a LOT of black bears at the cottage ,on the average 6 or more a season. The cottage is north of perry sound Ontario Canada, black bear territory.

I am looking at picking up a new spinning reel, was looking for all of your opinion. The two I have been eyeing are : Shimano symetre fl & pfluger supreme mg. If you had the choice what one is the better of the two? Cheers.

Power Pro Slick 8 is it as "durable" as original power pro? and how long does that coating last on the line?
