Frog Fishermen
I like the LTs as well, but I am also partial to the Lunk3rhunts. They work really good if you just give them some skirt legs once the legs rip. It's almost like they undergo a natural metamorphosis to me haha... About those Sebile frogs- I got one and it broke at the pivot before I even threw it. It was noticeably crooked when I took it out of the package and so I tried to just give it a little adjustment and it broke right where the hook pivots- I can't imagine a fish would be any kinder during a fight. Actually if there was a fish on it would have ripped the hook right out so count me out on the pivot frogs.

No More Car Topping My Canoe
Same. I have a kayak and a 12' semi-v and I love taking them to backwater spots seldom fished. Even when I'm not going to use the trailer to back in, I'd still prefer to have it on there rather than in the bed of a truck. It's just a good height for anything. I'd also rather drive my little SUV than the big huge truck anytime so it's by far my preferred method of transport.

Have you posted pics in the "show off your stuff" thread? You definitely should. Also please post impressions of the Archangel if you get one. I've yet to really get the skinny on those and I have two Envys. I'm very curious!!

I wanna see this and the roumba fight to the death. In other news, thank you children (mom obviously) for the Gander Mountain and Backcountry.com gift cards! Just grabbed a spool of smackdown for the frog rod and a Cardinal STX reel for the kid's cover combo.

Smith Optics
Hands down best customer service I've ever experienced. Also optics qualities are phenomenal. Their ski goggles are all I will wear and their chromapop lenses are particularly killer for fishing.

Trying Out Braid-Advice Needed
Fwiw the lowest I would go with a frog or specific heavy cover setup would be MH/30# braid. You really do want more backbone and a nice heavy line for heavy cover. Makes a huge difference!!!

9" Slug-Gos
The Slug-Go is one of my all time favorites in any size really- just a fantastic darty/jerky presentation. I usually cut it off at the 6" though for the regular "fat" style and then go with the Slug-Go SS (which is a 9" also I believe) for a longer albeit more slender look. They have the same forebody of the 4" and a long, whiplike tail... Honestly nothing walks like it. It's just so whippy and erratic, it drives the fish insane and stays in the strike zone a long time because you can literally just walk them in place.

Fishing A Shallow Lake With Little To No Structure
Well the Ned Rig is really just a concept of tiny jigging with around 1/16th weights r so and small plastics. Downsizing the shakyhead almost. In terms of depth, usually you need the pond to be deeper but perhaps 7ft is just enough or there's a hole r spring feed someplace. If you're catching 'em you're doing alright!

Fishing A Shallow Lake With Little To No Structure
If this is in Chicago, don't even bother looking for big fish- 7ft is not deep enough to avoid winter kill. It still can't hurt to Ned rig the place upside down just to see what's in there though IMO.

What's Your Favorite Big Worm And How Do You Rig It?
I like an Uptons Dragontail on a swinging jighead of some kind- either with an offset shank or an EWG depending on cover.

Frog Vs Popper
If they're talking about using poppers with mono, it's the style that has trebles and a hard body. Nobody in their right mind would ever recommend setting hollow body frog baits of any kind with mono unless it's approaching saltwater diameters haha

Talking Finesse Jigs
I finesse jig more than I big jig. Much more productive around here it seems.

I Lol'd When I Saw River 2 Sea Release A "rattle Trap" That Costs $12
Y'know and this is why I maybe shouldn't have said gimmicky even though that's what came to mind first. Strange maybe? Different? I guess maybe it struck me as odd that they can make a huge wake bait for under $20 but the trap is $12. I had the diving frog and that silly craw crank with the claws from a while back stuck in my mind but they do have some quality normal stuff. Never seemed to be an expensive-side company though even with the strangeness now and then but hey- The more I think of it those weird baits mean they're trying to think outside the box and I can respect that even if I'm not jacked up to throw it personally.

Personal Touch..
That's kind of funny, I like to remove all the red if I can. Something about red on rods and reels I'm not a big fan of. I'm plotting against the red bits on my Ito Ai right now actually- I'd love for them to be green, black or gunmetal. Every time I look down it's like the reel has a hangnail haha
