Not going to find a really super sensitive rod in that range, but I would give the *** *** a shot.

We set one up at a local lake that is no motor. We emptied it a few times when we visited, then MiDNR pulled it down and put some notice up about permanent fixtures. We just made it out of some 6" PVC pipe. Top section could be pulled off and the bottom section emptied easily.

Don't really care much. Can't decide which is my ugliest combo, the Helios w/ CI4+ or Veritas with Curado.

I fish what normal fishermen would call swamps...so the 50lb+ braid's really become handy.

There's a Lews rod with the Black and Red theme going (Tournament?). Quantum Tour has got that theme as well. I think they have a mid size guide Tour. Abu Garcia Veracity as well. Not sure what else is out there in that range but I think all three of those are. Going up in cost, you might find a used Cumara which matches perfectly.

A lot of time in shallow ponds I like to throw a T-Rigged Senko and just drag it back.

Lost an entire tacklebox of spoons while pier fishing one year. 10 years worth of grabbing spoons of every shape/size type and all but the one on my line knocked into the water by some idiot not paying attention to the other fisherman on the pier. He later mailed me a $75 gift card to Gander Mountain because he felt so bad, but it didn't even come close to replacing the number of spoons I lost.

Was setting up some dough balls and chicken livers on some big rods and sticking them in rod holders. I flopped one out when another line started bobbing. I went to pull the other line and when I came back to the rod I set down it was gone. Never got it back.

How long is the scratch off thing supposed to be going?
