I bought them second handed and I'm not familiar with daiwa parts but it seems like a RC 002. Pretty common spool.

Tried some aftermarket CF handles recently. Also since I got less and less time on fishing I sold my metanium and got this combo, a curado 51 paired with Majorcraft Corkish 2 pic casting rod. Finally got a chance to fishing today and very impressed with the high quality cork handle and lightweight of the rod. Perfect combo for keeping in my car.

There are two things I don't like so far. The none clicking dragstar and cheap plastic knobs.

Thanks for all replys. After upgraded all my casting rods to cumara I feel not very comfortable using a Cabela's $50 spinning rod. Gander Mountain has $50 rebate for Avid I think that's a good deal.

I'm looking for a better quality 2 pieces spinning rod because sometime I went out with my kid the infant carseat makes impossible to put 1 piecerod in my car. I've played St Croix Avid in BPS and really like it. I looked the website and see the 2 piece mode so I'm wondering does anyone has the experience with 2 piece mode. Other suggestion would also be great appreciate.

My favorite combo, very impressed with the DC system. Even with the tension knob totally loose there is no backlash at all.

How's the ZPI knots feel? They look nice but not seems comfortable to me. Also wondering why these kind of knobs are related to finesse just because they are smaller and lighter?

Thanks for the reply. Got more information of this bait. They are custom made to be slow sinking. The place I usually fish has very shallow water so it might be hard to give it a try in a short time. Just wondering the advantage of this design compared to lipless crankbait?

I just got a couple Fishco crankbaits today. They body is wood and the lip is made by something like circuit board which is interesting. My only concern is I tried it in my fish tank and found they are slow sinking. I've never fished any wood crankbaits so are they supposed to be like this?

Thanks! One more question is if I want upgrade the knobs with bearings should I change the handle? I lose the maunal so I dont know if the handle could fit bearings or not.

The knot on my 50 mg tuned into gum so I'm planning replace it. Also I know there are no bearings in the stock knobs. So my question is may I just replace it with the knobs from Chronarch E series or I have to change the handle as well? Thanks!
