Chinese Swimbaits
I only dropped $14 for the both of the swimbaits I aint breaking the bank. The only question would be durability cause these look sweeter than sweet. I'll post again once I've used them in the water as an update.. Those are good bait u listed but I'm waiting for the Mattlures hardgill.

Yea I'm lookin for the Bluegill color in SS. If I'm gonna drop $60 for a lure it needs to be painted like the Mona Lisa.

Chinese Swimbaits
They are connected via some dynemma strap which made them look el cheapo but it does make them more responsive. Did you buy any and had them broke off? You know I got straps which are tie downs and they can hold alot more weight than a freshwater fish ever could exert.. I have the s-waver and never had great luck on them but these look like knock-outs compared to those which are kinda bland..and forget Mattlures.. always OUT OF STOCK.

Chinese Swimbaits
I broke down and bought a pair on eBay since all the wood swimbait I was after are OUT OF STOCK! So I'm looking for genuine reviews on these as to how effect they are as they have some awesome paintjobs. I don't know if they are gen2 or somethin but a few years ago I saw what looked to be Chinese wooden jointed lures on eBay with great paintjobs but now they guys have these realistic paint or print on and they are freakin awesome lookin. I am going to have to assume that given how ridiculously great they look that they are gonna land me some fish this year. I've caught fish anyway on the most pathetic lure with little action and lookin much less attractive as these. Bought one 4" lookin like a baby smallmouth and a 6" one which races my heart each time I looky at it .. small perch. Gonna take them out for a spin after vacation a few weeks from now! I dunno I think I'm in love with a fishin lure..

Straightup Frogs.. Bronzeye Shad Vs Booyah Padcrasher
Thanks guys. Looking for an all-around frog.. mats, holes, open water.. something I can leave on one of my rods all trip. How about the best frogs for all-arounf walkin. I take it Bronzeye Shad and Padcrasher are on par.. here.. any better frogs for walkin than these 2? My koppers I used to think walked pretty well but its doesnt walk nearly as good as I seen videos of Bronzeye Shad nor Padcrasher..

Straightup Frogs.. Bronzeye Shad Vs Booyah Padcrasher
Boy that was quick How about performance in comparison as well? Which one is easier to walk? Does the padcrasher have durability problems?

Straightup Frogs.. Bronzeye Shad Vs Booyah Padcrasher
Guys, anyone have experience with both of these bad boyz so they can compare/opine on some attributes? Which one walks better? Which one compresses better on the bite? Which one is more durable? Looking to upgrade on my usual Koppers frogs this year and we're comin' outta Winter (finally).. Thanks in advance!

Sufix 832 Color?
Thanks for the tip Ill look into it but I bet the color is mostly on the teflon coating and that rubs off easy.

Talking Buzzbaits
Buzzbait discussion at this time of the year? I cant even get them to hit my spinnerbait anymore in my neck of the woods.. In Ohio I bet the water temps at at most in the low-mid 50's the fish are mostly lethargic and spook easily by fast moving spinning stuff.. and probably wont come up much for them either.

Ok You Fished All Year Whats Your Future Plans?
Seasons not quite over yet .. but after the season in the dead of winter I usually go over my fishing logs and update my notes for how I may adjust next year during different seasons, time, weather, etc..

No way to even extract/export those threads into a textfile somehow?

Sufix 832 Color?
If you are looking to make multiple casts to an area.. arent you afraid of scaring away fish with those loud colors? In my experience the green on my Suffix wears off fairly quickly anyway into some sort of light rope color.. maybe it fades into ghost?

I wasnt here 6 years ago and probably neither alot of folks. Since Doug past away this summer, that section would be invaluable to many to be able to view those if its possible

Fall Struggles
In my area its really late fall weather so the good part of early and mid fall just seems to have been passed over this year. I never really ever got too excited about fall bite anyway.. with all the cold fronts going thru the fish get dormant for days after each front and this year there have been some wallopping fronts.. For me its just good to get out there and pull a fish here and there and work some lures which ordinarily dont work as well for me.. Spring is where its at and Iike fishing Summers too..

Spinnerbaits
Mxtaylor, You may even consider using 1/4 and 3/8 as well and initially w/o trailer just so they're more subtle and wont spook the fish as much to gain confidence. My fav trailor is a bream striped trailer on a 1/4 oz spinnerbait.. dont think the smaller SB cant get big fish the quarter oz landed me some big fish.. plus the 1/4 oz had a trailer on it so the profile is actually bigger. Also, depending on your weather over there in Kansas the spinnerbait bite may be going.. lotsa inactive fish over here begging for finesse baits..

Why We Fish
For me, it is combination of: 1) CHALLENGE .. Its a desire with alot of challenge to catch big fish (and on some days to even catch one) and once we achieve, its an elation of a desire temporarily satisfied.. its a human condition 2) BEAUTY OF NATURE .. You can see it when some anglers such as me catch one and just hold it up looking it over admiring the fish's beauty .. and the surroundings where upon it is done .. a oneness with nature as if things like this is supposed to be as-is 3) LOVE AND EXERCISING COMPASSION .. You can see it when anglers admire and kiss the fish and have the self-control, compassion, and foresight to release her to live another day .. to bring joy to yet other fisherman who may catch her.. For some others is more about survival where it may be dinner or no dinner.. or ego of impressing others of some accomplishment.. for me I need little approval and I can find dinner readily elsewhere.. its about the memories of just experiencing the fish & the fishing for some moments in time

Is My Fishing Season Over?
Went shore fishin' yesterday on a whim and got skunked and was mostly frustrated being unable to reach the areas I thought the fish were. My casts were just short of point dropoffs. Saw some smaller & medium fish near shore via polarized glasses but they were easily spooked away by my spinnerbaits. Looks like finesse fishing for me from here on out and only via boat.

Spinnerbaits
All good.. If you are learning it, I'd say yea take your best spinnerbaits and one rod and take your shot.. gotta trust the lure.. and it does work at times I'm not of the opinion you keep tossing SB at the same place all day if theyre not hitting.. I'd move around.. SB for me when they are working are searchbaits just off the surface and abit more subsurface. Otherwise like any tool in my box, when they are not working as efficiently, they're gone.. and the search for a better tool begins.. Right now my spinnerbait bite is going.. I'm on swimbaits.. shortly I will be on worm and jig
