  1. Regular old Krylon spray paint works fine on lead. Whatever you use (assuming you don't use powder) you'll have to seal it with epoxy otherwise it will peel off very fast. Just use Devcon which you can find at walmart for like $2.69. Make sure your mix is precise on the epoxy. good luck.
  2. I've found it easier and less hassle with the wife if you just spray paint the lead head then epoxy it with devcon epoxy. it holds up better against chips than the baked on paint and allows you to customize your colors a lot better. You can also spit out a lot more in a shorter time. I can't take credit, though. i saw this trick on Bass Tech. it works great. Good luck!
  3. have you tried livingrubber.com that may be a good place to start if not.
  4. Well, gentlemen, I did it. I got a Badger 155 Anthem and Silentaire Scorpion 2 compressor, createx paints and epoxy. Wish me luck! I'll be posting my first results as soon as I have them.
  5. I'd just repaint with some good powder paint. Or, you can order painted blades from any of the big suppliers like staminainc.com or jannsnetcraft.com.
  6. What site is that? I'm wanting a site with some more selection than jann's or stamina if there is one. Thanks!
  7. Thanks!!!!
  8. Does anyone have any recommendations for a beginner for airbrush and compressor? In doing some research, i like the Badger 155 and Badger 188-11 or T&C Air Star V. As a beginner, I want something easy to use and clean but not something that I'll want to trade up real soon. I'm also not very wise as to what to look for in a compressor. Your wise help is much appreciated!!!

Can somebody post the link to the thread where somebody discussed how they built their own lure drying system? I can't find the dang thing anywhere. Thanks!
