Keep us posted on the type r when u get it. I would really like to know how how much better it is because the regular tatula is super smooth. If the type r has better bearings then I am definately switching to Diawa

Im not sure why my post says I bought the reel today..lol..cell phone must have changed it. I actually bought thereel last week. ive used it a few times now and so far I am very impressed. Big N is right though, not really a finesse reel but I have a core for that. More so concerned about the breaking. Havent had alot of experience with magforce cause im used to centrifugal brakes. It seems ok though. No problem with backlash even in hard wind

The new Diawa Tatula is pretty great! I bought one to try about a week ago and I have nothing bad to say about it so far after 3 fishing trips. I mainly use Lew's Tournament Pros and this tatula may be the reel that converts me to Diawa.It is very smooth and casts a mile. The new t-wing system works flawlessly

Ok I am a Lew's fan but I broke down and bought a Tatula today to try out the T-wing system...Anyone have any thoughts on these reals or warnings. I tried to find some reviews on here but didnt see any

Im from Lufkin Tx. I have checked out Bass Resource a ton of times, just never took the time to become a member mainly cause I have never joined a forum..lol..I fish every second I get but I am by no means an expert..just love the sport. Seems like most everyone on here is friendly and helpful.
