Yep. What a trip. Just made it in about an hour and a half ago. Papa joe is safely on his way to the land of Lincoln. We had a great time, met some good folks and learned a bunch. Actually I learned more in 3 days than I've learned in the last 3 years. I was really in over my head. These guys and gals know how to fish. A special thanks to all the people who put this together. Can't wait until next years trip. I caught some fish and missed more. I was like Beckie, asleep at the reel.LOL. A very special thanks to Mike L, Ghoti, and bass is addicting for sharing their expertise, tips, and fun with me.

As for the Saturday night entertainment, would anyone be interested in watching the world famous Ghoti, Dinky, and Long Mike belly-dance? In the interests of preserving modesty, we will be fully clad in our thong bathing suits. Dang it. Sorry but we have to leave mid afternoon on Saturday. I'm thinking we could come back early Sunday!!!!

The line will only be as strong as it's weakest link, the leader is the weakest link.. Braid is supposed to be strong. So if you tie a plastic leader on, isn't this defeating the purpose of using braid?

Now this may be a stupid question but here goes any way. If you spool your reel with braid why do you put a regular line leader on it?
