  1. My vote is for the live pointer 95, it has caught me some nice keeper bass and hugeeee pickerel, just picked up 2 more for the upcoming season, just my honest opinion
  2. I have an enormous bag of many creature baits and really like almost all of them, out of these choices the winner for me is the yum sooie, its big and bulky, big fish eat this lure, you can cast it far, it sinks perfectly, and not many people use this as far as i know, everyone seems to love the brush hogs
  3. Welcome aboard, get a pen and pad ready thats my advice, since joining ive written many notes, and printed many pages of excellent advice, your intro was fine, enjoy the new boat, o and im greatful for just vacationing in your amazing state each year for one week, it truely is beautiful!
  4. I would definitely go with one of those realistic crawfish lures, i love the looks of those things as is ;D, so basically any soft craw bait number prob. zum crawbug
  5. Welcome aboard, you will absolutely love the site
  6. Sorry i cant help you on a review but man those things are sweet looking, definitely should work, i personally am not good at rigging those type of lures properly
  7. Im with the 2 other fella's, i use jointed frog day and night and catch a lot of bass, i like the very slight change in action with the jointed, my dad loves the non jointed black and i seem to out fish him with my jointed frog, safest bet, get a few jointed frog pattern jitterbugs and non jointed black jitters ;D
  8. I personally feel whatever your best producing soft bait is, for me its almost any form of creature bait in natural colors, just drop it where the blow up or action occured and hang on, many times throwing the same lure back to the same spot works but when i have hard bait on my fishing buddy usually will have a soft bait on and ill have him toss for the bass and that usually works, hopefully that helps
  9. Zoom trick worms, floating lizards, and absolutely a heddon crazy crawler in the bullfrog pattern
  10. Haha that was a very nice intro Blaine, glad you joined this amazing group, definitely good that your decided to add your thoughts so they can be read, i was like that too for a long time, i just read what people wrote and finally realized that i should sign up, i bet theres so many people just watching the posts like that and they should they too should and have their voices lol... well their words heard
  11. Lol thats crazy someone actually caught a bomb, kinda scary, has anyone heard of a person actually catching a boot like the old saying?
  12. Welcome aboard, you definitely joined the right place, haha and dont worry about where ya from even though im guessing that was a joke, if you like bass fishin then your that much better in everyones book
  13. I guess im late to the party, by that i mean i just started using these lures in the past 2 years and man i was missing out, i love the motion they give off, that wounded baitfish style really slays them many days
  14. I have never used these lures but it seems like for the most part they go in the look cool but catch only the fishermen category
  15. A little late to the party but i too am added to the unhappy customer badnwagon, i saw these lures used at a fishing seminar when they were first coming out, man did i think they were the next best thing since sliced bread, boy was i wrong and very disappointed with this one, the movement makes me still want to believe they catch monster bass but reality has set in :'(
  16. I used to use snap swivels but they definitely are too big, im not positive but am afraid they due in fact effect the motion of the lure, what im about to use this year are dual lock snaps, much smaller and therefore shouldnt hurt the movement of the bait much if at all, also my fishing buddy loves using em' just my .02 cents
  17. Jonathan Student majoring in Psychology while working as a secuirty guard Long Island New York
  18. Happy birthday
  19. I bought like 3 of these lures because y'all raved about this lure and it does look really good, my only question and its not a big concern because they are so cheap is, do they break easily due to the fact the lure is very small and has a small thin wire, curious to hear your opinions guys, Thanks Jon
  20. I take one bag loaded with about 8 plano 3700's full of all hard baits, and then a big tub with all my soft baits in various zip lock bags, but to finally answer the question ;D, id day 75-80 % of my stuff is not touched per each outing, but i always bring it all for the "just in case" factor
  21. I definitely like red hooks on soft plastics in shallow water less than 5 feet deep
  22. Wow that truely is amazing, im still extremely thankful a site like this was set up in the first place, its the best for fishermen to get along, talk to one another and help one another out, i personally stopped suscribing to bass master mag. because this is the real deal
  23. Yeah i definitely agree with you guys 100%, i love fishing and while looking down at the water for a second you can see all the water-bugs flying across the surface of the water, i really like listening to the loons communicate to each other from long distances
  24. Happy birthday man, wow 3 years feel so long ago for me haha, anyhow enjoy it dude
