  1. Thanks for sharing that. I just ordered 2 Mojo's!!
  2. The differences in PFD's. Type 1&2 are designed and approved by the Coast Guard to keep the head of a unconscious person above water. They have a lot of floatation and are bulky. Type 3 PFD's are what everyone wears for the most part. Type4 PFD is a throwable device like a seat cushion or life ring. The Chinook by NRS is a real nice kayak PFD. The flotation in the back is up high enough that it does not come in contact with the seat back. It also has pockets. As for your paddles I would guess at least a 240cm. Todd
  3. I guess the title kind of explains it. I'm talking spinning rod. Granted different lengths, tip actions and butt stiffness work well for one type of fishing but not be as good for a other. I.E. a rod that works reall we'll for fishing soft plastics may not be as good for fishing top water. What if you only had one rod to do it all? What would you look for? 7'? 6'6"? What tip? Fast, extra fast? That stiffness? M/L, M, M/H? I see a lot of guys that go out with multiple rods. But if you only take one what would it be? Thanks, Todd
  4. I'm a new guy just checking in. I grew up in North Jersey and fished a lot as a kid. Joined the Navy in 83. Traveled the world did some fishing but my Navy career and raising a family never allowed me to do it as much as I would have liked to do. We'll the kids are gone and I find myself getting back into it more and more. Stumbled upon this sight and it seems to be one of the better ones. I look forward to participating on this board. Thanks, Todd
