I got a question, i do mostly saltwater fishing and i have a massive amout of stick baits (jerk baits). My question is whats the biggest i can throw for regular size Lmbass up to 5lbs. Also will the weight of these lures scare the fish more on impact or attract them. I got stick baits that are 8" but weigh around 7oz and fly like missles. I also got alot of 5" stick baits that weight around 1oz and everything in between those. Will they work?

odd since ive never caught a billfish over 9knots but have caught tuna,wahoo and some other fish 10+ knots

Looks good I always have a wahoo rig out when searching for spots on the bottom. They have been caught trolling at 20knots before which is insane. Ive also been spooled at high speed trolling if you dont pay attention or forget you have a line in the water lol. The ace lures are my favorite for that kind of trolling with 480lb wire as a leader.

billfish are slower just an fyi, wahoo and mako's are the fastest fish in the ocean. Then i would say tuna and mackeral are next.

What way did you decide to cook it, also what did you put on it?

If you want to catch cuda's, just put the most expensive lure you have on the line and they will take it from you!!!!! They also like red and green tubes Also if you can find a bait shop everything loves live shrimp!!!!!

when in doubt go simple, I like my wahoo with lemon,butter,salt and pepper with a little cilantro. I love the texture of wahoo, its a nice white fish but it has imo a little bit more dense than most white flaky fish.

I like sting silvers from the shore, also bucktails with some kind of fishbelly works well also. also yozuri crystal minnows work awesome but add up if you lose a few.
