Imo best innovation in fishing have been reels getting lighter and just as strong. Also all the braided line to choose from

I have used the G series(most people hate) for a while now all in saltwater and haven't had any issue's. Mostly used to vertical jig striped bass and seabass. Have caught fish to 40lbs on it. Still works great after hundreds of fish and abuse

I will take any 8 weave or higher braid over power pro any day. My favorite braid is Varivas , daiwa boat braid and daiwa samurai

Imo every extra knot is a weak point waiting to fail. Ive also never had a problem with braid slipping with a piece of tape

I've had good success with the red seguar fluro. But i have only used it in saltwater.

i am going to order some more stuff before the tw sale is over also... I do like the t-wing designs so i will probably pick up a few more of the t3 ballistic or the normal t3. Also a couple of rods to go with them

i got the reel mostly for micro jigging in saltwater with vertical jigs. But was trying to do dual purpose for freshwater. i do have some 15-30 gloomis laying around would that rod work better?

I just ordered a daiwa z200 with an *** black 7'1" med hvy rod Im new to bass fishing, what would you use this setup for? What would this combo excel at.

Just bought a daiwa ballistic t3 for a great price, i need a rod for universal application as i will be shore fishing. I mostly use jerkbaits and spinnerbaits. Price is $120 and under.

How much pressure are you using when spooling your reel? The more drag needed to spool a reel the less digging there is
