  1. How so? They weigh a good amount, plenty for casting
  2. I don't doubt that smaller baits catch big bass, i've caught a 5 lb bass on a 2 inch grub, but using such a small bait limits the amount of big bass you will catch because small panfish or small bass will get to the lure first and eat it before the big bass can. I would never soley rely on a small grub to go after my PB largemouth, it can definitely catch them but the chance is so small. I do believe a giant bass would see a senko and a small grub equally and would take either one. I just would rather use the senko so i don't pull in bluegills instead of the 7lb bass that was sitting next to them Plus, casting distance is awful with tiny 1/16oz jigheads if you don't fish from a boat
  3. Way better than anywhere in the northeast and here big swimbaits are thrown alot with great success!
  4. what are you talking about? You're in Kansas!!
  5. That's a shame... with those steel hinges you think they would hmm?
  6. I was thinking about using them for stripers and bluefish, you think the joints are that weak?
  7. Hey, lately i've been checking out some of these jointed swimbaits on Amazon. Really nice paints jobs and attention to detail, and the reviews say the action is pretty good as well. Has anybody ever used these? http://www.amazon.com/4-Seg-Hard-Sinking-Swimbait-HS4X387/dp/B008WWDNZM/ref=sr_1_3_m?s=sporting-goods&ie=UTF8&qid=1420211713&sr=1-3

  9. who gives a hoot
  10. i need one of each rate of fall and color, never know what the fish will want when you are on the water... right?
  11. Why don't you go there ever anymore haha?
  12. you need to put that inside a ziploc bag, put that ziploc bag in another ziploc bag, and finally put that in a big ziploc bag. The bass can't smell it if you do that. You can catch those biguns, just don't let them know you have a scale haha
  13. Guess I don't need to carry my shotgun around anymore... Happy New Year!
  14. Palm Beaches area, most ponds there are chock full of largies.
  15. Do you ever fish any private lakes? The one in your profile photo?
