  10. Again, this topic is very subjective. I agree with some of the other posts, that you should go with a smaller reel. But ultimately, it's up to you.

  12. Too large of a reel makes your combo butt heavy. Too light makes it tip heavy. This affects your casting & rod tip sensitivity in feeling a fish strike. It also affects your comfort, because you have to compensate for the unbalanced rod & reel. The best way to judge, is to physically put together your combo and feel it for yourself. Take a rod or reel that you own, and try them out in the store where you plan to buy the companion reel or rod.

  21. I always pack out my own trash, as well as some other peoples trash. You would think that fishermen & fisherwomen would tend to be more cognizant of the environment. I would say that the majority of us try to do the right thing. But then again, there are stupid folk in all walks of life. And we all know that you can't fix stupid.
