  1. Nice, just wondering, how long did it take you to customize them?
  2. Glad I am not the only one haha!
  3. Not spawning bud..spanwing was back in march I think um here in the north..
  4. I go for how ever long I want...usually just go..comeback for a little scack and then back on..but I live on the water so it's easy..
  5. I knew up in the north we grow a bit smaller in bass sizes... My average is 3 punds..never smaller than two pounds.
  6. 2+ pounds is a keeper for me...
  7. Darnit...more money to spend now... :-/
  8. Dan, do all sungalsses have interchangeible lenses for difernt days? Like grey for the sunny days and so on and so forth?
  9. Maybe a 6-10 is a big bass...I don't think they come any larger here where I live in my lake and I can't fish any where else :'(. THe only fish I think is over 6 pounds i have only seen swiming once, know where it lives but never catch it... Back to the topic... Presentation, confidence, and the right gear. Your not cathing a big bass on a crap reel and rod IMO..
  10. Dan, I know the post you had for the $70 dollar pairs...but wouldn't the more expensive ones make a larger differnce in terms of comfortablility and other things?
  11. The chiken idea didn't work..would DNR know?
  12. Get a canoe.... ;D Also get some senkos, creatures, cabin fever, and uh..spinnerbait.
  13. I really doubt it, but anyhting can happen in this world..
  14. Also...what f=polorized sunglasses would be best from the 100-150ish price range as I have my b-day in about a month..
  15. Wow, just really getting 'into'' fishing a lot since a while ago. I bought a pair of $20 polarized sunglasses for fishing, and it really makes a differnece in what you can see under water. I have spy optics non-polorized and relaly confortable as they were $100+ and my cheap $20 pair is really uncomfortable. I have a question...what lens colors goes best with what types of days.. Like orangeish or amber with sunny etc.?
  16. I have two rods, one baitcaster and one spinning.....use the heavier ones on the baitcaster... And I keep using the lure until I catch a fish on it, then I get my confidence up on it so I keep using it. Except for my terimator...only caught two fish on in a LONG time...one was a big one (5.5) and the other was a dink.
  17. Check it out guys!! I use this when I wanna go to another part of the lake off the bank.. http://img58.imageshack.us/img58/8882/photo0305oq.th.jpg' alt='photo0305oq.th.jpg'>
  18. I have no idea, havn't seen them around my lakes in ages!! But I use blueish crawdads... And I am in northern NJ too!
  19. Yeah, other than never fishing on any other lake.... :-/ One day I am though!!
  20. Was on that wagon but got off! Havn't used a senko more than a month or so. I still have a few bags since I have the tournament tomorrow night and when I just wanna catch one in like 5 minutes or less. It is awsome that I don't depend on ANY LURE ever!!
  21. I am with Rattlinrogue....not going to spill my honey holes but will give some advice. Over the last say three months, been spending A LOT of time over at my bait shop and have been learning MANY secrets and how to fish amost every bait that I can think of for softbaits...and a popper. I share my secrets with these two guys over there who may be like 25-30ish or older and they share their secrets. One of the guys knows more so it's cool. I just learned how to fish two new baits and another secret to attract more fish today when I went fishing for my tournament for tomorrow! What goes around comes around. But be very careful who you share with.
  22. Uh..field & Stream sometimes...but usually don't read fishing magazines...if I need some help I come on here or my bait shop and I learn something new everytime I am on here or at my baitshop. It is a lot cheaper to do it my way.
  23. in my backyard..so about 1 minute or less, or across my street about 1minute or less but having to get the boat to the other lake would take about 5 minutes and i'd be in the water. I defenitly take my lakes around e for granted. Monksville dam for gas boats- like 20-30 minutes from me I supose..
  24. Spinnerbaits...only had one dink and one huge one the dang thing. Never tried a crankbait........sad to say.
