Friend used one the other night on Chicamauga. Its weedless, dosent sink at all, never filled with water and he stuck 5 out of the 6 bites he got. Fishing it after dark the hits were explosive, he out fished me as I was throwing a buzz bait on grass edges. He got fish in the grass and in open water. Its truly an awesome bait. Cant wait to get my own.
I have a sparky mold that calls for these hooks, not a big fan of eagle claw, but after reading your forum im curious. Do any of you all use these hooks? If so how are they for a flippin jig?
it is a do it mold, model FBW-4-AF, I didn't realize it wasn't made for base pins when I ordered it. Its designed for a weed guard, the mold wont hold a base pin. May have screwed up buying this mold....
I have a football mold that will not accept base pins and must have weed guard molded in. I want to powder paint these jigs and cure in an oven. How can I do this without ruining the weed guard? Any and all suggestions welcome!!
Looking for a mold similar to the weedless Wally. I like that style jig for bass fishing. Haven't made my own jigs yet but an anxious to try. Any suggestions on molds will be appreciated.
