Powell really doesn't make a jerkbait other than the inferno series do they? Haven't heard anything about the inferno.

For those of you who have this rod, how would it be for throwing jerkbaits? Mostly 110's, pointers and staysees

It being a older Cumara and not having a receipt I wonder what they would say. The place I bought it has the new Cumaras in the same length and action as my old one. So idk if the would give me it or not

I broke a Shimano Cumara this evening. The rod is 3-4 years old I don't really remember. Will I be able to send it in and get a new one. Just wondering what their warranty is like.

Looking to buy a new jig rod, the rods I'm looking at are the Powell Endurance 714 and the Phenix M1 7'2 heavy. I can get the Powell for 150$ and with the 4th of July sale on *** I can get them M1 for 152$ It would be my first Powell and I've handled them in stores and like them, but no tackle shop around me has the M1's, but I've heard nothing but greats things about them. So which one would y'all choose?

Anyone have any info on these rods? I've looked for some reviews but there aren't many. A local tackle shop got a huge order of these rods in and he's selling them for 100$ wonder if it would be worth it to pick it up.

John Cox was the one that used one at the red river and he uses one for every FLW event. He says he uses it because the lack of funds. I actually think he's made 2 top ten cuts this season. I know he did on Hartwell.

That's what I'm thinking. The ghost you could get anywhere for $99 but the halos are usually 79.99 so that's a pretty good deal. In my opinion.

I'm at the bassmaster classic expo in Bham and they have a deal for two halo daylight series rods for $99.99 or I could get one duckett ghost for 99.99. What y'all think?

I'll be there for sure. I live in north Alabama so I'm only about an hour away. Will be my first classic, been to a few elite series tournaments. Heard it's a great experience.

Yeah you can get them 3/8oz or 1/2oz so you can fish them deep

The jig I went to that's still finesse but you can fish it deep is a war eagle heavy finesse jig. Green pumpkin orange is my go to color, and has a stout Gamakatsu hook in it. Water temp is 45-48 here still but I wouldn't doubt a couple warm weeks they will start moving on up.

Believe it or not I caught that big spot on a shaky head out deep in brush. I'm catching a lot of bigger spots right now on a jerkbait. I catch a lot of fish cranking and throwing a jig.

Really deep clear mountain lake. A lot of ppl call it the "Dead Sea" but it has giant spots in it. Caught my pb spot this fall which was 7lbs and have caught a lot of 4-5 pound spots. The lake has changed a ton over the last couple years since someone decided to stock blueback herring in there illegally. So that's taking some getting use to.

Yeah some giant stripers, I only bass fish though. Love West Point lake me and my family take a trip there every spring and fish. Haven't been the last couple years because it seemed every time we would drive over they had the lake sucked dry. But I've heard they held it up pretty good this last year.

New to the forum. Love it btw. Anyone around here fish this lake? It's my home lake and fish it all the time, was wondering if anyone fishes it and would like to go sometime. Always have a back seat open.

Do you throw jerkbaits on your 6'10 mh? I've picked up this rod and really liked it but at the time didn't have the one I wanted.
