ever lose a fish cause they came straight towards the boat and put slack in the line? i use a revo rocket for everything from crankbaits to drop shotting and everything in between. just learn to slow your roll and it works great. also it takes 3 turns of the reel handle and your ready to make another long pitch. It works for me but to each his own i guess

Got my order of 30 jig heads of all different shapes and sizes today! these swim jig heads are amazing! more pictures will come when i get more tied. and they aren't the best picture quality sorry

I want to start making my own skirts so should I tie them with a wire or just use rubber collars?

I was gonna go with a m/h for an all around rod not anything specific I'll probably be using crank baits both square and deep divers. throw a light t-rigged creature or worm on it as well. im up north so i dont have to worry much about huge fish. thanks I will look into some of those

Now i know that Duckett finally released their ghost series of rods and I really want one, but a couple other rods for 99 bucks have peaked my interest. Namely Cabelas just came out with their new tournament zx rods, which have an eva foam grip overlayed with a grip kinda like a tennis raquet. funny thing is I already have a duckett white ice that I went ahead and put a tennis raquet grip on. But boy I do love me some micro guides! Im torn on what i should do..plus i have giftcards for cabelas so i would be paying half the price on the zx rod. since the ghost series hasnt hit cabelas shelves yet. so i need help deciding on which one or if there is other rods i should be looking at. Thanks!
