Weekend Advice
If the rain is warmer than the lake temp, beating the banks should produce, especially if the water is stained. The fish should be shallow because of the warmer water.

How To Handle This?
Match the size of the minnows. Try a 2 1/2-3" berkley gulp minnow.

My New (Old) Stratos Boat (Pic Heavy)
Back your trailer in a little further and use the trolling motor to get a good head of steam, lifting it just before the trailer. You should get it on far enough to winch it the rest of the way!

Co-Angler Tackle Bag Size?
Before I bought my boat I carried a bag that held 4 3700 boxes. Box 1 held all my hard baits. Box 2 held all my skirted baits. Boxes 3 and 4 were for my plastic. My terminal tackle fit in a 3600 box that would go in the front pocket. All my tools and extras went in the side pockets. I could fish any condition or technique with the contents of that bag. There is no need to carry gear that you don't or won't use. You get a full compartment on my boat, but I prefer to stay as light as possible!

What Setup Was Your First Bass Of 2014 Caught On?
Finally got the boat out on the river today. I caught my first fish of the season, a 2 lb largemouth, on a homemade green pumpkin jig. My rod was a 7'1 mh daiwa cielo paired with a lews speed spool and 15lb spiderwire ez fluoro. Man did it feel nice to finally get out on the water!

Looking For Help With A Price On A Tracker
$6k would be a dealer price, which would be for a flawless boat. $1.7k would be roughly what you should be looking at price wise.

Looking For Help With A Price On A Tracker
Suggested list price is $6,000. Average retail is $1700. This is from the NADA Guides.

Fishing Points
Be sure to position yourself far enough away to not disturb the side your boat is on. You will eventually want to fish that side as well!

Are These Any Good?
Check around. The veritas combos just got marked down to around $80 if I recall seeing it correctly.

Identifying Line
Be sure to break the waters buoyancy. Otherwise a small piece of fluoro will also float!

Are You Happy?
At 25 years old there is not a thing I would change. I love my job, own a house, and will soon be marrying my high school sweetheart. Yeah, i'm happy with my life!

Not Again!
I love me some shim-e-sticks, especially watermelon red flk!

Are These Any Good?
I have 2 black max reels that I started out with. They are good reels for the price. I can't say much for the rods. I've never used one.

Not Sure If This Is A Joke...
Apparently everyone forgot about it being in "mint" condition. That puts the price up $2500 on its own. Throw in a heavily used and old trolling motor, accompanied with a cheap fish fish, puts it at the $3500 mark. That motor is worth $1100. This is a steal!

Does Your Dog Go Fishing With You?
My favorite fishing partner. He usually just lies on the rear deck. It will be interesting to see how he adapts to the new boat. He is blind!

Who Turned Out The Lights?
I just ran a quick search and couldn't find a thread that helps me out. What lights are you guys and gals using during night fishing? I currently use a Berkley Dual Tube Fluorescent Light, but I am not satisfied with it. It isn't as bright as I had hoped it would be. I would like something with both a black and clear light. I use the black light to light up my deck and the clear to light up over the water (I know, i'm doing it backwards). Suggestions anyone?
