I have one hope for the draft, and that is for the Lakers to pass on Ball with the 2nd pick just because his dad is so ridiculous. I have nothing against the kid, and he is actually my favorite type of player; a pass-first "floor general" type point guard. He also has an effective outside shot, as goofy as it's form is. I look forward to watching him play in the NBA, just not for the Lakers.

Looks like I've picked a good year to go see a Rockies game. I'll be in Denver for a week in September so I'm going to catch a game at Coor's field while I'm there. Soon I'd really like to get down to Atlanta to see the new Suntrust Park. I've heard it's beautiful! But I'll probably wait until this "rebuild" is completed. Unfortunately that may not be until Hart and Copalella are gone.

For me, collecting tackle, rods, reels and other fishing equipment is all part of the sport that I'm so passionate about and obsessed with. So I guess enough is never enough.

That was a very entertaining game, as these two teams always are. Interesting argument with participation trophies, not sure what that has to do with anything but it's clear you're trying to reach for anything because what you're saying doesn't quite make sense. This league is the furthest thing from watered down. There is so much elite talent in this league right now, regardless of who wins the championship. I actually enjoy watching basketball games with any teams for the competition and individual talent. Whether it's the insane abilities of guys like Westbrook, Harden, LeBron, KD or Curry, or the incredible passing abilities of Chris Paul, Ricky Rubio or Nikola Jokic. I like to watch the competition for the 8th seed or game 7 between Boston and Washington and I actually enjoy the sport for the individual games and players. But in the championship I want to see rivals and talent. Right now the most of both come from GS and Cleveland. If you say this league is watered down then it's pretty clear you don't follow the league. I can't help you if you don't like to watch basketball.

Totally false. A rivalry like this is not weak or bad for the sport, even if you don't like it. Huge tv ratings, and it obviously had you watching it.

It just means there was too much time between the when the fish takes the bait and your hookset. Try to keep your line semi-slack so its taught enough to feel any tension, but slack enough to let the bait fall naturally. There should be a slight bow in the line, not allowing it to lay limp on top of the water. With most soft plastic presentations, if you're not totally focused, more often than not a bass will swallow the rig. A wacky rig is especially easy for a bass to swallow because smaller hooks are often used.

Thats awesome. Crappie are by far my favorite fresh water fish to eat, and I only dream of happening upon a honey hole that produces a bag like that. My crappie catches are always few and far between, and usually have to fill out my fish fry with bluegill, pumpkinseed and perch. Did catch my PB perch earlier today though!

It's funny, the few other pictures of tigers I've seen that we're pulled out of that lake have the same markings and color as this fish, including 2 that were over 40 inches. Large enough to eat the world record pickerel. At first glance, I could see how this could be mistaken for a pickerel. Similar colors but not the same and obviously the markings on it are not those of a pickerel. Tigers are the only esox that reside in this lake.

I like to see that, just two greats having a heated, emotional discussion during a hard fought battle. It was cool to see. A few minutes later they made up.
