OK... They are added to my list! I figure the inhibitor Pro Chips should keep my trays dry, and hooks sharp. 1 more small bait casket for another outside pocket of my tackle box. Shad Wrap size 5 and 7 were on my list... The Avenger was another recommendation to me. The Weed Demons are my first Walk The Dog type baits... I just needed some size 3 treble hooks. And I wanted to try out some official swim jigs. The Dirty Jigs looked good too.

New Tackle arrival update... My hook collection is looking better. I took the advice given in this thread and removed the lead from my Terminal Tackle tray. I also took the advice given and picked up some glass beads, for that different 'tink' sound when using bullet weights. Next, I am relieved to report that my first G2 arrived, and it JUST fits in the small size tray that I ordered. Actually, when closed, it shouldn't shake around too much... Probably a good thing when you consider that this tray, will be stored standing on it's side. Needless to say, I was glad that it officially fit in the large pocket of my tackle box. I love it when a plan comes together... I now have also officially graduated, to 3 box status on my plastics: Bass - Impact Fats - and Ultra Light:

I guess the guy at Hummingbird gave me bad info in July of 2013. Funny how both the thread, and the dude at Hummingbird went with a Class 4. Odd... I would think the problem has more to do with the hardware of the reader, than a software update, but who knows. OP will have to go with what he thins is best for him, as we both like our current cards. Talonman out!

I believe LakeMaster is the only one that gives you the (offset water depth) option. I could be wrong on that... But it is a neet feature.

Some were posting online that they bought a faster memory card, but it wasent working well with the 798. ( determined by Class ) I wrote Humminbird, told them I had the 798, and wanted the biggest, fastest memory card that works with my unit. I told them to go to Amazon, and post me a direct link to what they think would work best for me. The above card was it, with the caution to not pass a Class 4 speed. The most comfortable... Well that would have to be Lund. I have yet to see the Bass boat where you can lean back in your chair, and kick your feet up on the side of the boat to fish...

Sweet set up for sure... I want a Talon or Power Pole some day. Is one better than the other? I also only have a 12v system currently.

Depens on your fishing style. If you like to cover lots of water, Spinner Bait or better IMO a ChatterBait. If you like to move more slowly, and fish each spot out, Jig. Both baits are worthy to master.

My love for the frog started in Michigan... We take a week long fishing trip most every year there. Lakes Benway, Intermediate, and Wilson, all conncted. You get you cabin and dock, put your boat in about a block away, and just get to then walk out of your cabin to your dock and take off! Super fun week. I am gong this year too in June. We would fish all day, and do OK, but the evening bite was, as we called it 'The big bass show' starts. Poppers rule! Each evening the bass start to feed off the surface, and you can see the rings made as they break the surface of the water. That is when we know that poppers and topwater frogs ar the best... Me headding to Michigan late last year, with the Jeep loaded down big time... I just received my boat 2 days before I left. (No marking, still runnng in Pirite mode then) Fished at Benway, Wilson, and Elsworth lakes, all connected together by small channels. Our view out of the cabin. I love that you put your boat in for the week, and get your own cabin and dock! Some fish me and my buddy caught: My fishing buddy Me! I love the topwater bite!
