I do really well with a 3/8th Kastmaster in chrome.

I've been slaying them on a 3/8th Kastmaster in chrome tied to 8# Fluorocarbon.

I'm happy with my Powell Frog rod. Very nice tip and solid hook sets. I use it exclusively as a frogging rod.

I can't comment on the Lews, but I have two Tatulas and plan on buying a third shortly. I fish three to four days a week and haven't had any issues with my Tatulas thus far. They're very smooth and I get great distance on my casts.

I haven't fished the other two reels, but I now own two Tatulas (6.3 and 7.3). I've been very impressed with their smoothness and how far I can cast with them. I was looking at the Type R version, but after reading Tackle Tours review of it, I will just stick with the standard Tatula. I plan on picking up another one the 5.4 for cranking.

Thanks! If you had to do it over again, would you go with another TFO, or go with another rod manufacturer?

What do you think of the sensitivity of the rod?

I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Martin and from San Diego. I've been fishing since I was a kid, but have gotten more serious about my bass fishing in the last couple of years.

I was just wondering if anyone has been FISHING with the TFO Tactical Series rods. I've read plenty of reviews on the signature series, but really haven't come across any regarding their tactical series. They seem to be a significant step up from the signature series.
