I wish more of my friends were like that... there favorite CFB teams are Alabama or Oregon. When I say,"What if they only win 2 games next year?" I get, "Then I guess I'll find a new team." Band wagon fans.

I agree. It mostly depends on how people are introduced to this sport and how they see the sport. As an example my sister every Sat. she finds me, my dad, and the boat gone. Since we do it so much and it's always on TV or we're talking about, it it's pretty much a normal thing for her. She can go through my tackle boxes and name every single lure. Then we have the kid down the street that went out once when he was 5, and when he hears the word fishing he thinks sitting there for a while watching bobber, having the most boring time of his life. It all depends on how you see it in the beginning, some may disagree but that's the way I see it.

I don't think cost is the problem... there are A LOT of kids my age that have rooms full of 200$ basketball shoes that have NBA stars name's on them. People don't want to wait or work for bites, they just want to cast, reel in, and have a fish.

When you don't have a good attitude your focused on all the bad that's happening and not on what's happening on the other end and you lose the patience to thoroughly work your bait. That's what happens with me.

Play it safe with 61.5% picked Ike, or go with drop shot specialist Shaw Grigsby? Bucket C. I think JVD will bounce back and have a good showing on the Chesapeake Bay. Bucket D. A couple good options, but Pipkens is who I'll take for this event. Bucket E. Gonna pick with the crowd on this one, and take Paul Mueller. That's my first reaction for this event but I'll study up a little more and then make my final picks.

The exact same thing happened to me the other day. But I caught a nice 4 lber. I was trying to unhook it and he started shakin his head, and I got a nice little treble hook buried in my thumb.

I fish C-rigs with a bigger weight than most and I guess faster than some with a constant drag across the bottom maintaining contact. Shaky heads aren't that slow if you have a heavy one, hopping it along the bottom. A weightless senco takes.......so......long to sink.

But that same backup QB doesn't know better than to run straight into his own linemen's butt

The Cowboys have a really really good O-line. If McFadden doesn't workout they still have Dunbar and Randle. It won't be near as good as last year, but it will still be good enough.
