Zoom Z-craw and Brush Hog

I use both depending on the situation. The baby one gets through cover better when flipping. The full size is good for Carolina rigs. I also like the baby when flipping behind someone else.

Obvious question but I have to ask. One of the reviews states that JJ's doesn't fit. I'm guessing that's not your experience?

These and Z-craws seem to work best for me.

I had not issues standing to fish.

I bought a Perception Pescador Pilot 12 last year and like it. I looked at other manufactures and based on the price and features went with the Perception. I don't have a lot of experience with other kayaks so I can't compare it to others but it's served me well. I can stand in it and I'm not a little guy so that's saying something.

I use their worm hooks. They’re not the best out there but for the price I don’t get upset when I need to replace one.

I rarely put a trailer hook but always have some kind of trailer. In my mind the bigger bait gives me an advantage.

I prefer the Z-Craw but had no issues with the Z-Hog.

I use this one and it has held up well. I mainly use it for fishing out of other people's boats and it transports well and stores out of the way when making runs.

Based on your 50-60 range I would go with the H2O Xpress Mettle at Academy. There is a no questions asked return policy and if anything happens they'll give you a new one.

I don't see the problem. Unless he did it when the lake was off limits or they're invisible to sonar there's no unfair advantage. The other competitors had every chance to find them like any other brush pile added by anglers. Plus now Hartwell has 50 more brush piles that will provide cover for fish in the future.

The local hardware store gives out half dollars as change. I think they do it just to be different.

I use both. I buy lures from the local shops because the ones around here stock what is working on the local lakes. It's a little more expensive that way but the information on what the fish are doing is worth the money. Also, helping out local businesses is worth something to me. My basic terminal tackle, hooks, weights, line, ect, comes from whoever has it cheapest.

I had success with a magnum trick worm with the tail dipped in JJ's Magic on a shaky head. I actually had luck with a lot of stuff that I dipped. It was my first year using JJ's Magic and I'm sold.
