I am new to fishing. My budget is $200-250. Do I spend it on 1 rod/reel or split it on 2 rod/reel's? Due to being new to this, would it be better to stay away from baitcasters? I am looking to use many different and rigs(crankbaits, topwater, spinnerbaits, jigs and soft plastics). Please help with suggested rods, reels(baitcaster or spinning), line weight and what lures the suggested setup would be good for. Thanks Jason

I have always wanted to get into fishing. About a year ago I started doing research and watching YouTube videos. I follow Gelnn on YouTube. He has great informative videos, and that is how I found out about this site. Like I said above I am very new to fishing. I do not have a boat, so I will be doing more bank fishing than anything else. I look forward to reading the articles and posts on the forum. Any recommended articles would be greatly appreciated.
