New To Fishing From Wisconsin

Featured Replies

I have always wanted to get into fishing. About a year ago I started doing research and watching YouTube videos. I follow Gelnn on YouTube. He has great informative videos, and that is how I found out about this site.
Like I said above I am very new to fishing. I do not have a boat, so I will be doing more bank fishing than anything else.

I look forward to reading the articles and posts on the forum.
Any recommended articles would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Jason

I'm new here also.  I have read BR for a while though, and will tell you that some of the best articles I've read have been from here, so keep searching and reading.  The more you fish, the better you'll become at it.  Fishing can be as easy or as challenging as you want.  If you're sitting in a lawn chair and enjoying that, then you don't have too much to study up on.  If you will be targeting one specie of fish, then you'll have more to learn.  These are questions only you can answer.  Either way, you're in the right place to learn plenty!

By the way, Jason, there's a video that deals with nothing but shore fishing. It may be of interest to you.

Lots to learn about the great sport of fishing. This is a great place to start and everyone is extremely helpful and nice.

Enjoy your stay and bookmark BR for easy access!!
