  1. KVD 1.5 in sexy shad 1/2 ounce Booyah pitching/swimming jig with a paca chunk trailer Good ole yellow Beetle Spin! I've had many a good day with that tiny thing. 5" Yamamoto Senko in a purple kind of color 1/2 ounce Rattle Trap in the Lake Fork color but of course I would never bring just 5 lures
  2. Whenever you have a baseball tournament you get on google maps looking for any lakes close by, pack a tackle box small enough to fit in your baseball bag, and pack some rods without your coach knowing. You then proceed to fish 20 yards away from a baseball field and your friend catches an 8.5 pounder. This may or may not have happened
  3. I've also had good days in the rain, but at the same time I've had some not so good ones. it does seem like if they are biting, they are biting good though.
  4. Thanks for the responses guys! from what I hear nobody really has any negatives about droids. the only thing with iPhones is that they crack way too easy in my opinion, but i did break my droid. it just took a lot longer. Anyhow, i appreciate the feed back and will probably go with the Droid Razr Maxx or Droid Razr M (yes they are two different phones) Tight lines!
  5. Just gonna reintegrate the KVD 1.5. My friend caught his PB an 8.5 liber on one last summer.
  6. My go to frog. You can buzz it pop it or walk it almost! I caught two fish over six lbs. on back to back casts and multiple others last spring! I also like the KVD frogs
  7. So i recently broke my phone, and I'm in the market for another. The one I broke was a Droid and it was a good phone but I kind of want something different. I was just wondering what input y'all had. I may get the same phone but who knows.
  8. I caught a 6 lb. catfish on a little bitty beetle spin! I thought I had the crappie of a lifetime! Fishing off a pier in Florida I had a lady fish wrap its self up in my line. lifted her all 40-50 feet up in the air without a hook in her and no net. I had a friend catch a 20+ lb. catfish on a tiny crank bait. Nothing too crazy though.
  9. What he said!!!!
  10. We have a gheenoe and that boat goes anywhere and can do anything! From duck hunting to fishing, it gets the job done.
  11. I would have stopped him and said something! I don't want something I paid for with my hard earned money damaged by someone else's carelessness
  12. I wish my dad would make the trip with me, but he doesn't really care for bass fishing. He's more of a catfish kind of guy.
  13. i really got into it the past couple years. i just wish i had more opportunities to go instead of being confined to the 200 yards of bank that I fish all the time. I mean, I usually do pretty good and that's where i caught my PB, but it's nice to go somewhere different and have another view, you know? Maybe that'll change when i can drive! sorry that it's off topic!
  14. I'd love to go but can't drive and don't have a real job since I'm only 15. Plus my dad isn't real big into bass fishing so that's a no go.
  15. Well mine is kind of self explanatory. Right after a cast, I love to feel a fish just blast it, especially a topwater!
  16. Do they have a website or would it be on youtube or something similar?
  17. I hear all the pros say it and others as we'll but how many of you replace the stock hooks or split rings and such on your new lures? Does it really make that much of a difference? I personally do not do these things but I don't feel like it has a negative effect. Any info you had would be greatly appreciated!!!
  18. I'm 15 and me and a friend were looking for a club in West Tennessee. I saw your website and was just wondering about your club and whether or not it would be the right one for us to join. We would love to fish tournaments especially since we started a high school fishing team at our school. Any info you could have would be greatly appreciated!
  19. I looked but couldn't find the full episode. Am I missing something?
  20. Thanks for the feedback guys! And thanks for that link. I must have missed it when looking through the pinned thread.
  21. That hit the nail on the head in my opinion. I think line diameter plays a bigger factor. Unless you're in super clear water I really don't think color matters, but we all have opinios. I do believe 30 lb. mono will stick out more than a 40 lb. braid ( considering the diameter is smaller ), but hey, what do I know.
  22. Hey guys! I'm sure someone has asked this before but i couldn't find where when i searched for it. But i was just wondering what your favorite cold water baits/techniques are. I've caught them on tubes, jigs, cranks, shaky heads, texas rigs, and everything in between, but I don't have one technique or bait/lure that stands above the rest. I do a lot of research and read everything from deep cranks to dead sticking a jig. Then you have the things that you hear all the time like suspending jerks and dragging a jig real slow. Just wondering what y'all had your best luck on! Thanks guys and tight lines!
  23. Great video! Looks fun to say the least if not a little challenging with all the multitasking!
  24. basically what he said. After time you get the feel for what the fish is doing. I can almost tell when the fish is about to jump. Drop that rod tip as everyone has said and keep the line tight! Then you're pulling the opposite way the fish is jumping making it harder to clear the water.
