  1. MikeOGNR you end up northwood anytime in the next 2 weeks I can show you those spots.
  2. Came back to this winter hell hole and caught my first bass in nh this year. 1 pound is a lot better then I expected. Might be time to hit up my spot
  3. I hooked into a monster on nippo last summer, i got cocky and was talking crap to my buddy when I got it within 6 inches of my hand but karma bit me in the butt and the 6 lb test broke with my favorite rattle trap. Never running less then 12 lb again
  4. Seems that I will be back in NH this summer for a few weeks. Biggest bass caught in NH will be with one of my chatterbaits with a soft swim bait(haven't figured out exactly which one) trailer.
  5. Not to rub into wounds but uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh i am enjoying the warm weather here in nc! Going fishing this weekend.
  6. Not going to lie I kind of want to make a redneck floating chair/raft and float down the lamprey river starting in raymond.
  7. Bow Lake seems like a good place to try fishing deep.
  8. I actually have never fished for bass deep. I don't even know how to drop shot.
  9. Oh haha, stupid iphone post. I just caught that lol, never been to tens but if you ever make it out to fort campbell ky, i know where you can find a few keepers
  10. I caught my one and only keeper off my dads dock(lives on the bellemy, the salt part) after 5 years of trying to catch one and i wasn't even fishing for them. I was using a little spoon to catch baitfish and it most of thought it was a bait fish.
  11. I have beat my ugly stiks to death, I still have one from a long time ago my dad gave me, that dam thing has caught everything from sunfish to mackerel(used it for jigging) and even a keeper stripper.
  12. Thats what happened to Lucas pond. This is in NC tho where they have lax laws.
  13. Its down here in NC, the owner is an old timer who loves to eat bass. I already told him I planned to make sure I cull the herd so to speak and hes like sure bring them in so I can eat them lol. trying to get my hands on some florida or f1 hybrids
  14. I have been given lifetime access to a farm pond that has the perfect set up in my opinion for bass. Going to start stocking that bad boy.
  15. I fish them in cold water, just real slow. I rip them over lily pads in the summer or ill let them sink and then use them like a jig
  16. This doesn't apply to this website(i hope not, my experience so far as been pretty good) but the bass fishers I have met in NC aren't exactly the friendliest bunch. When you come down to NC let me know, if you dont mind the little less then 2 hour drive to fayetteville I have a couple spots we could go to.
  17. Yuppies ruin everything. They are the bane of my existence! Seriously tho, swains has bigger bass then people give it credit for. If any of you know Bow Lake like I do, the back side *pond* on the other side of Bennetts bridge in northwood has some lunkers. Try to get them early in the year or late in the summer/fall time. Fishing during peak summer is crappy but you can see the big boys and gals swimming through the pipes without a care in the world.
  18. Swains lake has some 5+ pounders in it but good luck catching them with all the yuppies who live there now. Theres a guide that used to live on Swains who has a couple of 7 pounders from there mounted on the wall of his man cave.
  19. Swains lake Swains lake has some massive bass in it. Its my second favorite 'Lake" to fish behind Bow Lake.
  20. No one has said beatle spins.......................... they are setting you up for failure! Seriously beatle spins in black or yellow
  21. Tackle buying fever! I keep finding myself typing in ebay and TW constantly. I need to get off the internet before I go on a spending spree.
  22. Madbury reservoir. My favorite place to fish as soon as the ice is melted.
  23. I prefer to T rig them myself, I enjoy the twitching action you can get from them.
  24. Not sure where your located but Bow Lake also has an amazing trout population but if you go on the Bow Lake, you will find that it has some pretty big smallies and bucket mouths.
