  1. Hands down shimano sienna $29.99. You will not find a reel at this price that can make it for quality.
  2. I fished the DUO Realis Spinbait 80 a lot last fall on St. Clair, I haven't gotten a chance to fish it in dirty water. But I did well with and I am really looking forward to fishing it this spring. I wrote a blog on this today. Just covering the basics.
  3. I tired it wasn't able to catch anything but a rock bass on them. I just think senkos hate me I kill them on the X-Zone Slammers on a Dropshot.
  4. Juiced Up Goby and Crawfish are my go to. The Goby scent really helped us catch some larger smallies here St. Clair, this started from day one in the field testing of it.
  5. Senko lol I can't count on both hands how many fish I have caught on them since this style bait came out. I can be fishing with someone that is killing them on it and I still can't get them on it.
  6. They are coming out with a 3/4 oz this year. and I heard a 3/8oz later this summer.
  7. Not a fan of that idea at all. I expected a better finish out of that bait then what it has.

  9. I had some DT's split at the wire on me and they replaced them all but they where only a few days old.
  10. There is a few places to launch, and some places to stay but you will have to drive about 10 mins from your hotel to fish everyday its just how it is here in this area right now. Public Boat Launches : $31.50 gets you covered for the whole year at all DNR boat access sites DNR - Clinton River Cut Off aka Crocker (130 rigs plus over flow lot that fits 100 plus) DNR - Harley Ensign (349 rigs popular with the pleasure boat guys, Deep water ramp) DNR - Selfridge ( 151 rigs no overflow anymore) Metro Parks - Lake St. Clair Metro Park ($14 , $7 for your boat $7 for you truck) Private Ramp - 9 Mile $15 a day ( a bit of a walk to park your truck but) Hotels by City: Roseville Red Roof Inn Super 8 MicroTel(best in this city gives discount to fisherman) Mount Clemens/Clinton TWP ConCorde Inns Chesterfeild Hoilday Inn Express Hampton Inn Make sure you ask about fisherman discounts at all of them. If you need help getting on fish when come up swing on by the shop and I can help you out.
  11. I am a big fan of blade baits. I work them just like lipless cranks in the spring and very well with them. My favorite is a Capt Jay's nothing fancy but has a great action to it. This thing just plane works jigged, yo-yoed or casted.
  12. I have gotten them replaced in the past with no issue. how old was the baits they would take care of?
  13. I have found the Scatter Rap Cranks to be a bit speed dependent. If your fishing them on to fast of the reel they can flip this happens until they hit a certain depth then they are good. I have found it best to fish it on a 5.3:1 to 6.1: reel. The Scatter Rap Shad and Minnow seem to run much better. I am really looking forward to using the Scatter Rap Crank Deep up here on St. Clair.
