  1. We have the same conditions here...the bass are even at the same depth. Try strolling an Alabama rig or a double A-rig thru the schools of bait and bass..it works http://i135.photobucket.com/albums/q141/SamnVa/20140308_115416_zps26fb349c.jpg
  2. I'm relatively new here..I live in Fluvanna County and fish Lake Orange, Sandy River, and Briery frequently.I fished lake orange today and ended up with 5 bass...5+ was the largest and 3# was the smallest. Where do you all fish mostly? Sam
  3. On windy days I prefer to fish the windblown side of the lake and/or the sunny side if applicable. Great baits for me are Red Eyed Shads in 3/4 oz., jerkbaits, spinnerbaits, crankbaits, swimbaits/swimjigs and alabama rigs. Lure selection also depends on what depth the bait and/or bass are holding. Good luck, Sam
  4. Sam in Va. here...I live in Fluvanna County and fish Sandy River and Briery frequently. I also enjoy Lake Orange and Ruritan Lake. I have a 17.75 Rhino Jet boat with no jet, but a 9.9 and trolling motors. Looking forward to 60* weather on Saturday!
  5. I shop at the BPS in Ashland Va. I just pretend I'm on a mission and don't give them a chance to start... It has worked so far. I gave the boat sales person my email and # to contact me when the motors went on sale and he did so... and I have NOT thank goodness gotten spammed to death.
