Temple Fork Outfitter Rods?
I do not know if this is true or not, but a sales associate from Bass Pro Shops told me that the TFO tactical series rods use the same blanks as the G.Loomis IMX. I have a TFO signature series i bought for squarebills and lipless rattle traps and i like it so far but besides casting in the yard i've only used it once.

Tuf - Line Supercast
i had it on two spinning reels last season. I LOVE Tuf-line XP but I wasnt that fond of the supercast. I had it break a few times and trying to tie a leader on never worked well, the coating would rub off and leave a frayed section of line above the knot. The coating is mostly the reason i didnt like it.

Trying To Pick A Reel
I have the super duty and i use it for frogging and i love it. i winched a 13lb snakehead out of a thick grass mat no problem. If you are trying to decide between the BB-1 or super duty, i say super duty all the way. The baseline BB-1's arent very smooth and feel cheap to me. Now, i have not handled the BB-1 Pro but from the specs it looks like its the same reel as the super duty but with aluminum gears instead of brass. I'd still choose the super duty over the BB-1 Pro. Its $20 less and can take anything you throw at it.

Chronarch Ci4 Vs Lews Bb1 Pro
I signed up just to post on this thread. The original poster said he wanted it mainly for frogs and jigs so why has no one mentioned the Lews Super Duty? I have a Lews Speed Spool Tournament Pro, Lews Super Duty, and Shimano Ci4. While the Ci4 is a very nice reel and is very light, i would take the super duty over the Ci4 any day when it comes to froggin or throwing jigs. I would only pick the Ci4 for finesse jigs or lighter baits; i use mine for shallow cranks. The super duty has high strength brass gears for heavy duty applications, an extra large 95MM handle for lots of cranking power, 7.1:1 ratio, and it takes up 31 inches of line per turn. My super duty is the only reel i use for froggin, plus i use it for pitching, carolina rigs, and texas rigs. I set the brakes to 2 and i can throw a Spro frog a country mile. I dont own a BB-1, but i have tried them several times at the store and I tested one a friend of mine has and i don't think they are as smooth as what others claim nor as smooth as my other lews reels. They never felt as solid as the super duty and tourney pro to me either. I don't know if they were the pro series or just base model BB-1s.
