  1. Once you see the lake on your left through the trees you will go around a curve very shortly after (slow down because it comes up quick) you will see a sign that says Manahan Park on a small wooden sign on the left turn there on the dirt road. You will come to a 3 way fork, take the left and that takes you right to the boat launch. Good launch with a turnaround, can fill up quick though, the earlier you get there the better
  2. Thanks Nev you too. i got lucky that time einscodek, lost one around 5 lbs yesterday, right next to the kayak, that definitely sucks when it happens
  3. That picture is great gives a whole different perspective
  4. Hope everyone is having some fun on the water and catching some pigs. Haven't been on in a while so many projects, haven't spent much time fishing either. Hopefully be out alot more the rest of the season. Tight lines everyone.
  5. I am in. Hooked into this 20 inch LM from a kayak and drug me about 20 yards right into a rock had to hold the rod in one hand up high and use the other hand to push down about a 6 foot rock. thought for sure i was going to lose him

  7. Finally got out again went to Pawtuckaway for the first time kind of a tough place, but did manage a few. This 20.5 being the best one
  8. Finally got to fish, first time in 3 weeks. Caught 9 LM this 18.25 being the biggest. Felt so good to be back on the water again. Congrats on last month Nev, and some nice fat ones so far this month.
  9. couldn't figure out how to put both pics on the post. here is the other
  10. Nev and Jitterbugger great fish. wish i would have got one that size this weekend. Got out saturday and finally got to do my first day of serious fishing. Caught 11 LM and 3 picks. All the LM were 16" or bigger with the biggest in length 18 1/2 inches, but caught one 18 1/4 that was alot fatter. Good to get on some decent fish was hoping for bigger but still a fun day. So here is an 18.5 and 18.25 for me to add.
  11. 17" for me, hope to cull this out soon
  12. Been so busy lately haven't been on for a while, looks like everyone is getting on some fish. Congrats Maine on the may competition and Nev you caught some nice fat ones. Welcome to the site rippinlips. So far this year haven't been able to do much serious fishing, but have been able to fish some with my kids. Couple of weekends ago my second to youngest got his first bass on an artificial bait, my youngest learned how to kayak and my second oldest got her second biggest LM, a fat 15 1/2 incher. While I would like to get some serious fishing in, fishing with them (while i dont get to fish much) is still great, some great memories for them and me. Did get to go to a small local pond yesterday for about an hour and a half, caught 8 LM biggest was only 17", water temps are warming up quick, cant wait to get on some bigger water. Tight lines everyone and hope we all have some nice ones this month
  13. In, hopefully i get to fish more this month.
  14. Not that I have caught any monsters yet this season, but suspending jerkbaits have worked good for me so far this season.
  15. Thanks for letting me know Spyder, guess I will try to fish there before the milfoil gets too bad.
  16. Anyone know if the gate is open at Stumpfield yet?
  17. Got out of work a little early Friday and headed to Otter Lake. Super windy, patches of rain and some big swells made for a tough day especially in a kayak with no anchors. Managed 6 LM and 1 perch. Biggest was only 16.5 inches, still nice to finally get out. Sorry Mike cant help you on that one.
  18. Some real nice fish guys. Cant wait to get my first big one of the year.
  19. In. Open to suggestions on some setup to measure fish in a kayak though. I usually use a flexible tape measure due to limited space, but with that being disallowed, maybe someone would have some ideas
  20. Yep figured I would be on the low side sounds like you have about 10 times more than me shane. Nev I think I would find a new girlfriend if she even suggested it. clr9933 a good portion of them are a lure they quit making quite a few years ago and as soon as I found out I bought every one of them I could find. Definitely a healthy addiction though
  21. Sweet new reel Shane. Last weekend I was going through my tackle boxes and switching lures out and made the mistake of dumping all of my unopened lures in front of my girlfriend, who proceeded to count them and said I had an addiction, no news to me. I had over 130 lures unopened not counting soft plastics or what was already in my bag. Just out of curiosity was wondering if everyone on here, has similar amounts? I am guessing I will be on the low side
