Putting together a do it all baitcasting combo geared towards casting distance....what reel would you go with? Daiwa Tatula Elite? Let's BB1 Pro? Something else? If it matters rod is a Kistler Z Bone 7'6" mh/f. I normally throw baits in the 1/2 oz range.

What's everyone's favorite soft plastic lizard? And why?

i cant remember what it was called, but it was a chrome walmart flw rod that had sic guides on it, cant remember what i did with it, but it was a great rod for the money!

Looking for weighted hook size recommendations for 6in , 7in, and 8in soft plastic lizards and curly tail worms....any help is appreciated!

Oh man, i ordered a Dark Sleeper a couple months back, and just ordered a Mad Bull....cant wait for the snow and ice to be gone where I live!

Those that have used both Suffix advance mono and Sunline defier armilo....which did you prefer? would you say one is better than the other? why do you prefer one over the other?

Might be a dumb question but does anyone do anything special when storing unused mono to keep it in fish fighting shape?

Need a dedicated soft plastics rod….my goal this year was to learn to fish soft plastics and it just didn’t happen….going to double down and keep trying…looking for a dedicated soft plastic rod and reel….what do you guys recommend? What length, action, etc? Reel/line suggestions?

How are St Croix’s extra fast rods? Ordered a legend elite from bass pro shops….said it was a MH fast action on the bass pro site, but St Croix’s site lists the same model as extra fast…..What techniques/lures would you use a 7’1” MH extra fast action rod for?

Looking at the St Croix Legend Tournament Bass and the ALX Enox for a new do it all spinning rod? Anyone have experience with both? Thoughts on either one? I have heard reports of st croix’s quality not being what it used to be (though I’m still trying to research and validate the stuff I’ve seen)

Looking for a medium or medium heavy “do it all” spinning rod to go with the Shimano Stradic FL I just ordered…prefer 7ft to 7ft 6in and a fast action…price range 300 and under…sensitivity is a plus as is durability
