ALX Enox vs St Croix Legend Tournament Bass - spinning rod

Featured Replies

Looking at the St Croix Legend Tournament Bass and the ALX Enox for a new do it all spinning rod? Anyone have experience with both? Thoughts on either one? I have heard reports of st croix’s quality not being what it used to be (though I’m still trying to research and validate the stuff I’ve seen)

Don't know about the ALX but the St. Croix is a nice rod.there warranty used to be lifetime but now it's 15 years.

I’m a ALX guy but don’t have any Enox models yet.  I have a bunch of Zolos and a few IKOs.  Love them all and the owner Alex is always ready to answer any question you may have.  I have asked him tons of questions and he has answered every single one.

ALX is a smaller company and always get overlooked imo.  They make awesome rods.

cant help you with the alx but i have a legend tournament 7 ft medium. nice rod. good sensitivity, good feel. to me it has a versitile action. fairly light tip that will cast lighter baits but gets into a stout back bone. i really like mine for flukes senkos neko rig.

new legend model or previous?

I recently got a ALX enox wizard spinning rod , been using it a lot, absolutely love it. Best spinning rod I own.
