  2. No brakes used on my revolution elite 8, with upgraded abec7 from hawgtech and no backlash, throwing bronze year frog 65, but tighten the tension knob enough so thereal won't be any free spool
  3. Look up the part number on schematic, and then you can find the replacement parts on ereplacement.com
  4. Looks like the year before curado and scorpion, deeper spool?
  5. Bro that happened to me on my premier gen 3, I replaced it with my self. Just go to http://www.ereplacementparts.com/abu-garcia-rvo3-prm-ambassadeur-parts-c-187196_194578_288547.html and go down to a-103 & a-104
  6. Lol, same here, my dx744 feels like a medium heavy.
  7. I have used aa gen 3 premier and also a ci4 chronarch, both the reels are solid, but I like the system on the premier, its easier to tune than the ci4 just for the fact that I don't have to open the sideplate to adjust the 4 pins, but adjust it externally, and with the ci4 I usually leave it on with just pins and set the outside on 1, the premier is more comfortable go palm then the ci4 not saying the ci4 isn't good, also the thumb bar on the ci4 is so smooth and also the retrieve on the ci4 is smoother than the premier plus I sometimes have issue on the premier with its thumb bar, its kind of hard to press it, but overall it doesn't bother me, so its like choosing vanilla flavor and chocolate flavor ice cream, so go out and try it and choose.
  8. I bought a DX744 used from another website and that thing is amazing, I have it paired with my premier gen3 and its a destryoer
