yea i cant wait. id been using a 6'6 but needed something a touch shorter and not as stout. planning on using it for jerkbaits as well. and maybe other things when im in tight places. gonna spool it up and try it out this weekend

im talkin about the older zillion. mine hasnt come in yet but i put one on a rod at the tackle shop and palming was much better for me than the tatula was. if really liked how it felt. if i do end up not liking it after fishing it a bit youll c it in the classifieds. if i didnt have afew extra reels with no rod id consider trying one of the tatula CT

grabbed a few toledo gold xr50's for 2.99 at academy. then got online and ordered a Metanium XG

Shimano for me. .ive tried Lews and couple others but they did nothing for me... i did have a tatula i sold recently (just too big of a reel) and just picked up an OG Zillion so we'll see how it does

i have a 6'2 m/xf st croix avid im gonna try for topwater this season. rated for 8-14lb line. i have a spool of 15lb defier armilo that i havent used. would it be ok to use this or should i drop the line poundage any?

i like the xcaliburs. and of course the red eye shad. caught a pile of fish sunday throwing nothing but a RES. the 6th sense ****** is becoming a go to as well. ive got a handful of both the FRS and the regular ones. bout to order a couple more colors of RES and 6th sense
