  1. I do that with all my beaver style baits when flipping and it works fine, I believe it helps get better hooksets.
  2. Just because something is safe doesn't mean it isn't gross, I'm not gonna handle a bass then eat my PB&J until washing my hands off. I wouldnt drink the lake water so I'm not gonna risk it.
  3. Uhhh, I wash my hands??
  4. I like them, cheap and work great
  5. Pretty cool haha I'd like to have a few of these for a natural disaster...
  6. Some people can just be more comfortable with slower gear ratios, people that like to reel like a madman go with slower ratios and the people that don't mind slowing down can go fast. Some people like slower ratios because they tend to reel to fast and it helps them slow down.
  7. Squarebills, lippless cranks, and buzzbaits are some I like.
  8. I don't really know the why part, but it seems like bass start to like the tight wobble and dying action of a lipless crank in the fall. But they each have their place, don't be afraid to throw lipped baits in the fall.
  9. Sounds to me like its overpopulated with bass, time to have a fish fry!
  10. *2, I like this description!
  11. IBTL, H2O express is like any other company they have great products and bad products. I love their squarebills, they also have decent frogs but I started fishing other brands I prefer more. I like their lipless crankbaits a lot also. IMO their hardbaits are very good overall for the price. Far from "cheap garbage".
  12. I'm trying to save for a new rod and this TW sale isn't helping...
  13. Welcome to the club...
  14. I really like the space monkey as well, it has great action!
  15. Happened to a friend of our family's brother, you can never be to careful and yes it can happen to you. Sorry about your freind
  16. Rage craw and zoom trick worm!
  17. My vote would be for either the frog rod or the swim jig rod.
  18. If I tried doing that on our local lake I would get my finger bit off by a pickerel or a bowfin!
  19. I can't imagine that a bass caught 120' deep would ever survive...
  20. I always have a PFD on the boat for each person but I dont wear mine all the time... Maybe I should start...
  21. I'm sure the fish are fine to eat...
  22. #1 KVD 1.5 and H2O CRS Squarebill #2 Strike King Rage Craw I think I've caught the most bass this year with those, I don't keep up with it so I'm not 100% sure.
