I guess I catch more fish in the morning but it seems like when the sun comes out and things start to slow down I also start to slow down and be more methodical and I catch bigger fish... Just my theory...

Nice I love catching fish on light line, bowfin are pretty darn fun to catch on an ultra light too, all you need to catch them is some marabou jigs!

I have the 6' 10" ML/XF that I use for casting dropshots and I love it, great rod for a good price.

While I don't wait until I feel the fish I try not to set the hook the second I see the splash, I usually will wait a good second before setting the hook...
