  1. I use braid on everything from Texas rigs to crankbaits... Using a leader when needed
  2. I use them all the time in that shakey head, works great
  3. I really only Texas rig them for bedding bass, but I'll throw them on a C-rig alot
  4. I prefer 50lb but some people will go all the way to 80lb depending on the cover...
  5. Very nice, I'm jealous!
  6. That's awesome! I've always wanted to fish there!
  7. Well my PB will probably come from banks lake because I fish there every day I can but if I was on a hawg hunt I would probably head to the Big-O! I've never fished it but always have wanted to.
  8. Don't tie to the spool, the line can still slip and slide on the spool... It may seem like it won't, but it will.
  9. Out of all the baitball series lure that is my favorite, be prepared to catch many fish on that bad boy. River rat hit the nail on the head, there isn't a wrong way to fish it, find out what works... Its a great suspending bait and can be killer when the bass are finicky looking for that easy meal!
  10. "Life's to short to fight with fools" exactly... Why bother arguing with a guy about fishing his dock, just move along, plenty more fish in the lake...
  11. This has happened to me alot, if I throw my bait over a branch on the very edge I'll make sure to dunk it in the water a couple times haha
  12. One night while it was pitch black outside I backlashed my bantam 100 so I cut the line and was just gonna grab another reel, while I was pulling in the line from the water I hooked a bass with my paddletail worm and drug him in with my hands... Good one too! Probably like 2lbs
  13. Many, many bait company's have scents on the baits in the package, like the coffee scent on rage tail products. Does that mean fish caught on rage tail's aren't legitimate? Are power bait lures not legitimate? You mention "aftermarket" scents but what's the difference between a bait that comes with scent and a bait you put a scent on?
  14. welcome to the forums!
  15. Heck, I don't even deep crank and I wanna buy one because they look so cool....
  16. I like jj's magic, I love the colors but the garlic smell is a plus.... They have a clear if you only want the scent and no color, I like to use them to give the bass something to aim at, dipping the end of your worm or claws of your craw in a color for example.
  17. Hmmm, I'm gonna be one of "those" people and say I would never restrict myself too two lure buuuut for the sake of the question... I would probably take a rage craw because it can be used for so many different rigs, and a squarebill... Rage craws can be trigged, C-rigged, punched, used as a buzz bait, Shakey head rigged, such a versatile lure...
  18. Put a crawfish on a weightless hook and no bobber and toss him out there allowing him to crawl around, give it a few tugs every now and then to get him out from under junk... Doing that almost replicates a crawfish as good as the rage craw....
  19. I like the rage tail shell cracker. Am I the only one who thinks "bumping" is rude?
  20. I have turtles in are ponds that will chase a spook from one side to the other haha
  21. Giraffes didn't exist until chunk Norris uppercutted a horse.
  22. I don't really mean for time to go by, just for the season to change quicker... You know what I'm saying? Like maybe fall can come a little early this year haha
  23. I know plenty of people who use skirted jigs with no weed guard, if you not fishing in cover your gonna hang up in a lot its not 100% nesscerary.
  24. I'm pretty sure there are crayfish in every state, just some places more than others
