Why Do Folks Like Squarebills So Much?
Honestly I set the hook into ANYTHING that stops the vibrations suddenly, you catch way more fish doing this but you will lose more baits but with a good lure retriever you don't need to worry, especially with most square bill use being shallow. When a fish bites it you can't wait and stop reeling to see if its a snag or a fish, you ethier set the hook or lose the fish. And for removing the trebles, its a good idea but it ussally doesn't work, from my experience the missing weight throws the action way off. I tried it with a friend one day practicing for a tourny and didn't want to actually hook then fish we just wanted to get them to bite

Time Keeping Fish Out Of Water?
I caught a bluegill that was a pound and a half or 2 pounds and it jumped out of my hands right back in the water lol Were y'all gonna keep that bass anyways? If not why does it matter that he swam off?

Spinnerbaits In The Summer
I'd rather fish a square bill in the summer. IMO it is the more versatile bait and is producing better, but everyone's opinion is different, there really isn't a spinnerbait vs square bill debate, there is spinnerbait OR squarebill.

If You Could Have One Lure?
This is simply not true, bass change depths constantly. One month mostly bass will be deep and the next they could mostly be shallow. Changes every season and even daily.

As long as it takes, to answer your question. The shorter the time the better.

Why Do Folks Like Squarebills So Much?
They work in grass, rock, timber, you name it! The reason I think they are so popular ( at least with me ) is they work year round and are so versatlite you can throw then in many conditions and types of cover! And they catch hawgs man!

If You Could Have One Lure?
Rage craw. Can be used on top water, Texas rig, Carolina rig, very versatile bait.

Why 60-80 Lb Braid?
Or 20lb braid. I'd rather bump up the pound test than tie a leader, I do use a leader when I'm fishing clear though
-
Anybody Know What Worm This Is?
Yup Kevin is correct its not even the same mold, the worm I have is 6" but that mold I thought was the same makes 7.5" worms If it is a store bought lure I'm having a hard time trying to find a brand name...

Anybody Know What Worm This Is?
Hmmm, really? Well then that's not it.... Ugh,

Why 60-80 Lb Braid?
I don't like going under 20lb line on spinning gear.... With 10lb line it seems like if you get the slightest nick in the line you lose like 75% of its strength...

Who Does Baitcaster Reel Clean And Repair??
Okay the one and only answer has been given, the thread can be locked now... Haha

Anybody Know What Worm This Is?
That could just be from the mold couldn't it? Why would that mean it isn't a worm made from a mold someone bought

Back On The Island!
Thatsba healthy bass you got on that top water, he will be a hawg one day lol
-
Why 60-80 Lb Braid?
when frogging why go with the lighter line? I mean 30lb will get the Job done but 50-80lb line is a lot more secure and you have more leeway when your line is frayed or you get wrapped in some nasty cover... Your not having to worry about fish seeing the line or casting distance so I prefer the heavier stuff. Only reason I can think of is like someone else mentioned on how it feels like rope and they don't like that

Gotta Love A Buzzbait Bite!
Got on the water at about 7AM and it was overcast and windy so I wanted to toss a top water first, well with all the buzz bait threads lately I decided I'd give it a go. I tied on a rage craw dipped it in some JJs and started slaying them! Then I ran out if rage craws so I started using zoom speed craws and it worked well. These are the two biggeat , both caught on green pumpkin rage craws with claws dipped in chartresue worked like a buzz bait around grass lines and pads. Haven't weighed them yet, man they may not look big but they can't be far from my PB
