Line For A Bait Caster
Yeah I know plenty of people who fish frogs on heavy fluro... I just prefer braid for the really thick stuff

Line For A Bait Caster
Yes, when your throwing braid you can completely disregard those line ratings on the rod... Your drag will give before your rod breaks when its working properly anyways so its nothing to worry about. IMO, the line ratings on rods now a days are really not that important even when not using braid... I go over and under the ratings on my rods all the time But if your using a stiffer pole and go way under the rating like throwing 6lb line on a rod rated for 12-20lb it could break it easier. I would worry more about going under the rating

Line For A Bait Caster
For a rod your gonna be throwing frogs and spinnerbaits on I'd go with 50lb braid, or 14lb flouro if the frog fishing isn't in heavy cover....

Shimano Curado I Series Combo'ed With Ugly Stick Gx2, Should I Consider A Better Rod To Go With This Reel?
Its like having a cheap car with expensive tires and rims lol.... Just kidding, if you like the rod then why get rid of it? I know plenty of people that use ugly sticks, no need to rush for a new rod....

Slow Retrieve On Buzzbait=More Strikes??
I am usually reeling it at a pretty good pace, not really burning it...

Anybody Know What Worm This Is?
Yeah I like the speed worm but its a little thicker, I like this worm because it is skinny and has a little smaller of a profile but can still kick some water and attract bass

Anybody Know What Worm This Is?
I had probably 100 of these worms and I've been using them with lots of success and really like them, I found them in my tackle box full of pretty old stuff. Anybody know the brand and if they are still being made?

Dedicated Flipping Reels
My friend has one of these he uses for flipping and he says he loves it and I have held it and it seems to work good and feels good.... Never really used it for more than a few hours though.
-
Dedicated Flipping Reels
I was kidding, but to say that you don't use your reel when flipping Is just false. Sure the rod is a lot more important IMO but there are some reels that are a good choice for flipping and some arent so much.

Weather App For Phone
Tried the weather channel app and its alright for a quick look at the weather but it doesn't go into much detail, I'm using AccuWeather now and it seems to be pretty good.

Dedicated Flipping Reels
What do you flip with? A cane pole?

Whats The Difference?
They have a square bill.... But they deflect off cover much better than cranks with rounded lips.

What Causes Bass Tail Fins To Deteriorate?
This is the picture, zoomed in a bit to see the fish better Edit: I've read in some places that bass can get their tails beat up from spawn and building nest, that's why you can catch males around spawn with bloody tails... Dunno how true that is but maybe this is from spawn and just hasn't healed??? This is a thread that's like 5 years old about blood on the tail that I found, pretty good read http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/78818-blood-on-tail/

What Causes Bass Tail Fins To Deteriorate?
I was just scrolling through some pictures and saw a one of me holding a good healthy looking bass that was a couple pounds, but I happen to look at the tail and notice plenty of holes and tears in it. So you think this is just old age or is it from previous injury's most likely? Like it getting bit by a predator while young? There isn't anything that would eat the bass except other bass in my pond but it was brought over from our local lake and stocked into our pond so it could have been attacked by a bowfin/jack etc when it was young but Idk... I've seen it before but don't know if its old age or something else....

Large Mouth Quit Biting
http://www.bassresource.com/content/search?SearchText=summer+bass+fishing&SearchButton=Search Here this will get you started But like mentioned above summer isn't the ideal time for bank fisherman, but there will always be some bass catchable from the bank

I Hate Cheaters.
Yeah they mentioned it was dead before it got confiscated I believe, I guess it was just handled poorly... Its a shame

Large Mouth Quit Biting
It could be a bunch of different things... Is the water always a bit muddy? If you just had a bit of rain that caused the water to get more muddy than normal the bass could be holding really close to cover... Like nose touching the tree close haha at least that's what it seems like around here Oh and if your actually targeting the bowfin they may be chasing little critters shallow, like really shallow, like 3 feet or less shallow
