Need Help With A Lake Over Populated With Weeds
Flipping and pitching senkos in and around the grass always produces for me.

Broke My 2Lb Cherry!
Big bass will bite a small lure just as good as a big lure just sometimes ones better than the other, this bass on our wall was caught on a black trick worm weightless...

What's Your Choice Out Of These Lures?
Group one defiantly crankbaits and in group two I'd take the stickbait with the jig really close...

Shakey Vs. T-Rig Worming
I wouldn't really "plan" on using a Shakey or trigged worm in the tournament... Only if I can't get bites on any other searchbaits would I then switch to a slow technique like that, you should have been practicing with the shaky head weeks before the tourney if you wanted to be good with it, not pull it out on tourney day and expect to get great results. The competition isn't till this weekend so you still have time to go get an pattern together and find the fish, then you can get a real "plan"

Shaky Head Brands
My megastrike shakE pro series finally got delivered but I didn't get to fish them much... I only went out in the dark for 15 minutes because the mosquitoes were so bad and couldn't see the baits action or my line because it was so dark, but on my first cast with a trick worm on it I got a strike but he got off because I couldn't tell I got a bite and didn't set the hook good... I'm gonna go out to my pond in the morning and use them more.

Could I Have Done Anything Different?
Maybe it was wore out from fighting against your rod... When I fish I try to horse the fish in as fast as my line will let me so when I release him he will have plenty of energy to recooperate.

Megastrike-S Again -
Wow great catch!

Catch And Release Survival Rate
Does whether or not its driven by profit matter? Profit or not they are still doing their best to give the bass the best chance of survival while still putting on a good show.

Braid For Crankbaits?
Flourocarbon has almost the same stretch as braid so I don't get how you don't like braid because of non stretch but then like flouro?
-
Good Light Fishing Line
I'm liking this this trilene but Im gonna switch to flouro because with mono its kinda hard to tell when a light bite happens. For 5 bucks this trilene is great though just not for my needs.

Catch And Release Survival Rate
BASS is deeply concerned and constantly improving release techniques.

Bleeding Bass Survival Rate
Ive had bleeding fish belly up and die right in front of my eyes upon release but mostly the ones not bleeding too bad swim off and look golden. I'd just like to know how fast bass blood can clot up and stop bleeding, it seems like the very sensitive gills would bleed for awhile...

Braid For Crankbaits?
I've gotten to where I really only throw my cranks on braid, I like throwing square bills on 20# power pro

Diawa Bg10 Spinning Reel
Yeah it has basically nothing to it... I opened it up to see what was inside and there is really nothing to it but its a fantastic reel.

Diawa Bg10 Spinning Reel
I have a really old rod and reel I just spooled up, its a diawa BG10 and I really like it, just tore up some bass with some 8lb line and a small spinnerbait. Anybody else have this reel and have any complaints?

My First Lm Bass Of The Year On First Ever Whacky Rig
I'm just curious how did that blood get on his tail, was he foul or deep hooked?

Wbasshat's The Weirdest Thing You've Ever Caught A Bass On?
I've caught a bass on a piece of bread and I've also caught a bass with a hotdog... Those aren't very weird I guess but my most unexpected catches lol both times I wasn't targeting bass.

Hook Set Question - Flukes/worm
Every day it may be different IMO, some days I'll miss fish waiting a little to long to set the hook but start ripping their lips off when I set the hook asap, then other days they chomp on it like bubble gum for awhile and I need to wait longer to set the hook... Maybe its just in my head but that's just my 2¢

Braid For Crankbaits?
Try using the search feature first and if you can't find and answer then post. This has been asked multiple times... Here is something similar I posted about this: http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/137242-mono-for-cranks/?fromsearch=1

Bleeding Bass Survival Rate
Just my luck.. After making a topic about release rates I'm fishing my pond and deep hook the biggest fish I've ever caught out of there. After easily removing the deep hook near his gill he started lightly bleeding so I hurried and sat him in the water and he darted away instantly... What do you think the chances of him living are because I'd love to catch him again one day when he is twice the size! I prefer to keep and cook bleeding bass because I hate seeing a dead bass wasted... I know the frying pan leads to zero percent survival lol EDIT : I should have posted this in the already made thread but oh well...

Colored Spinnerbait Blades
After I posted this I fished until it started to get dark and I started catching the heck out of em with this spinner...

Does A Snagged Bass Count?
Foul hooked fish can feel very big... I foul hooked a 4lb bass in the side the other day and thought I had a monster on my hook...

7.1:1 For Spinnerbaits?
I use a 7:1 for spinnerbaits and it works great, I haven't been using flouro for my spinnerbaits I've been trying out 20lb braid lately but 16lb flouro should be fine but I would prefer a little smaller. But Idk what conditions your fishing or what you want your bait to do.

Colored Spinnerbait Blades
The fishing has been kinda slow in my pond at my house so I decided to try something I never do, I used a tiny spinnerbait with colored blades, I didn't catch anything but had one follow it for a couple feet. Do you guys ever use colored blades like red, black, green, yellow, chartreuse anything different than the normal silver and bronze colored blades? I've always used the normal mettalic blades and did fine but I think I'm going to start trying colored blades more often and see what happens... P.S this is the spinnerbait I was using, does it look familiar? I would like to know the brand because I like it but I found it at the bottom of my pile of spinnerbaits. EDIT: just caught a nice bass after posting this btw
